Default Cryptocurrency system using body activity data

Microsoft has a vision on how productivity should be measured and pay for performance rolled out.
Real time monitoring is their solution.

"Human body activity associated with a task provided to a user may be used in a mining process of a cryptocurrency system. A server may provide a task to a device of a user which is communicatively coupled to the server. A sensor communicatively coupled to or comprised in the device of the user may sense body activity of the user. Body activity data may be generated based on the sensed body activity of the user. The cryptocurrency system communicatively coupled to the device of the user may verify if the body activity data satisfies one or more conditions set by the cryptocurrency system, and award cryptocurrency to the user whose body activity data is verified."

This system has been in effect for well over 100 years, most industrious individuals call it piece-work or working for yourself as opposed to receiving a salary or hourly wage.
Doesn't work very well for habitual slackers and wellies though so not a great work platform for some political entities.

As a kid growing up in kitchener, Budd Automotive was an employer that used piece part incentive programs. A few of my friends that dropped out of high school went to work there and were earning huge bonus checks. Hard and heavy lifting, but you could make $80 (1975 wages) a night extra in pay if you put in an effort.

We're going to see a few 'troubling' developments in s/w surveillance tools in the next while that will monitor the 'Work from Home' employee.

There are a few around already, but with more and more using that option, employers will need a way to monitor the employee that he's paying.

I don't mind a honest days work for an honest days pay but what is troubling is the implication of being monitored 24/7.
When does the monitoring come to an end?
Your cellphone may be off but is it really? Same with that Alexa sitting in the living room.
At least with these devices you can discard them but something physically attached to your body?
    Think covid tracking devices.
China has already implemented social credit scores that give people the ability to enjoy extra perks we take for granted nowadays.
A very slippery slope on the horizon with all this technology.

Is your phone ever really off ? Powered down you’d hope so. No Alexa devices for us....
