Weapons and ammunition seized by OPP

The Old saying.."He had a rap sheet as long as your arm" sure holds true for these two..

If they're from an Organized Crime group in Que with good lawyers....I wonder how many charges will stick and how many will get pleaded away

Shortly after 9:00 a.m., a traffic enforcement officer with the East Region Highway Safety Division stopped an SUV that was clocked speeding eastbound on Highway 401. The licence plates attached to the vehicle were found to be stolen from a similar type of vehicle.

Upon the arrest of the two occupants of the vehicle, a search revealed two loaded handguns in their possession.

A 24-year-old from Lasalle, Quebec and a 28-year-old from St Clair, Quebec are facing 26 Criminal Code charges each, including:

· 4 counts of carrying a concealed weapon or ammunition;

· 4 counts of possession of prohibited weapons or ammunition;

· 2 counts of possession of ammunition or firearms contrary to a prohibition order;

· 2 counts of possession of, or knowledge of, a firearm with the serial number tampered with;

· 2 counts of possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm;

· 2 counts of possession of a weapon;

· 2 counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm;

· 2 counts of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition;

· 2 counts of being an occupant of a vehicle knowing there was a firearm;

· 2 counts of knowledge of possession of a firearm;

· Tampering with the serial number of a firearm; and

· Possession of property obtained by crime.

They won't be going anywhere any time soon. They're being held in custody for a bail hearing. With probation violations and weapons possession,if they get bail,I'll be very surprised. What really grinds my gears that any time sentenced will be reduced by 80% with credit for time served.

When will the government learn that if the people want them they will get them. Banning firearms will not stop the gun crimes . Taking firearms away from law abiding citizens will not stop the gun crimes.

Guns don't kill the people using them kill.

Has been a never ending war in drugs banned illegal but billions of dollars worth make it the the streets all the he time. It will make no difference .

Not all weapons are firearms but all firearms are weapons. I have and will refer to my firearms as weapons because that is what they are.
