How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

As long as the virus continues to rule , tensions are rising. My friend's mental health has taken a nose dive this week too.

Tell your friend to shut the TV off for the next week and read a book instead or go for a walk.
Clear the mind and all will be well.
The virus only rules because of MSM.

Just stop watching the news channels and ignore 90% of what gets posted on social media and, especially, don't engage internet trolls for any reason. I promise that after a week or two, your friend will feel much, much better.

Unfortunately this isn't something you can blame on the Wuhan, at least as far as the person's actions are concerned. This stuff happens all the time, it's just there were less people sitting on the internet to bring the world's attention to it. Consider the Timmies floor pooping crap tosser in BC.

“This is definitely concerning,” Janiri said of Comrie’s symptoms. “Post-traumatic stress disorder is characterized by alteration, not only in cognition and mood, but also in arousal. Hyperactivity, (nightmares) about the traumatic event, and flashbacks and avoidance of stimuli.”
It can be difficult for these PTSD sufferers to find a sense of refuge because the source of their trauma is a worldwide event. “You can’t ever get away from that trauma, so it’s everywhere, it’s in the public zeitgeist, it’s on TV shows, it’s on the news,” Comrie said. “On social media, it’s all everyone’s talking about right now. And that can be really hard because you don’t ever get a break from the trauma that you’re trying to recover from.”
