    I just about killed myself moving it 6 feet even with the help of my strong and healthy son. He had the heavy end....lol
    I like the counterbalance tilt assist. A nice touch in the design of the unit. Will make converting to the vertical position a lot easier.

    You'll be surprised how often you use the vertical set-up. I got too old (or smarter) to be lifting up the huge blocks so I rolled them off to the side and did them as a group once or twice a week.

    That looks very nice. Great deal also. Get use to grabbing logs on the sides instead of lengthwise, when placing them on splitter, save your fingers.

    So that black baseplate under the wedge is welded to the wedge and rides between those blue rails? That seems like a place where wood chips would get built up.
