I don't get it.
If you travel for work, and become a risk to Canada. Your employer should pay the tab
If you travel for personal reasons, the tab is on you.
But this is 2021, and money grows on trees. And I am beginning to really feel deju vu. 2006-2016 all over again. The more scandals, the more inept they look, the more $$ will be needed to maintain the support

I guess the heat is on and he needs all the votes he can buy. So maybe that’s good news.

Unbelievable....
Newly arriving refugees will have the cost of their mandatory hotel quarantines and COVID-19 tests covered by the federal government.
However that is the status quo for refugees now...nothing has really changed.
If your a snowbird coming back from Florida....I'd be leaving the rental car in the US and taking the daily refugee bus to Roxham Rd and getting the RCMP to carry your bags across and help you to the Hotel.

People can't say they haven't heard these warnings since the start of 2000.
"Deepening dependency among the provinces, including for major expenditures like healthcare to care for an ageing population, will continue to put a drag on economic growth more broadly. Provincial and territorial expenditures are expected to rise 3.9 per cent annually after 2022, outpacing revenue growth of just 3.6 per cent."
Plunging revenues and sky-high deficits could turn catastrophic

If you're wanting to teach a person how to mooch off the taxpayer for the rest of their lives its best to start them off on the right foot.
