Ductless Heat pump
Well back in the fall I had a new heating system installed a LG Ductless heating system. The system I purchased has to heating heads one in my basement and one upstairs.
The Inverter is 24000 BTU. It's rated for -26 Celsius. We used it on a few cold days when temps hit -24 and it runs nicely.
The system cost me 10 grand to have installed but it was through a fella I know and the price was for me, it was done above the table as I wanted the warranty. My buddy roughed everything in and setup the outdoor inverter and got everything ready for the HVAC guy he hired to connect and inspect. 10 Grand might at first sound like at first but other vendors wanted 13 - 16 K. So yeah I got it pretty cheap.
So far we are very happy with the system and since we didn't have air condition before it will be even more awesome in the summer.
Below is a link to a US company that has the same model I purchased.
