Default Covid Goon Squad Arresting a Mom

You have to watch this video. Especially if you are one of those that believes that the Covid Enforcement isn't going to infring on our rights.

This took place in Syndey AS.

It was perfectly legal during Sydney's first lockdown. But because Renee was carrying a sign objecting to the restrictions, she was swarmed by police.

She was doing nothing wrong. She wasn't at a demonstration. She wasn't at a rally.

She was literally just out for some exercise with her child.

And then police ripped her child out of her arms, and smashed her into the back of a police van.

Again and again, the terrified four-year-old cried and screamed as police ripped him away from his mum, who tried her best to hold on to him.

It may be the most enraging, heartbreaking, barbaric thing you will ever see.

But you have to watch and share it because everyone has to know what is going on in these lockdowns.

Fine, she probably should not have been arrested, although I don't know what else happened that wasn't shown. But FFS, if you want to protest something, find a babysitter first, don't try to use your kid as a human shield. Irresponsible.

a little back story...under Australia Lockdowns you were only allowed to go outside for exercise. So she took her toddler (for his walk too) and took the walk around the block. She also decided to wear a sign that said: 'If you don't know your rights, you don't have any. Magna Carta.' (freedom of expression).

In the video it looks like 8 cops + a supervisor, ripped her child from her arms and she was manhandled into the back of a van like a sack of potatoes.

Nothing she did should have resulted in that brutality.

The part that gets me is all the bystanders with their phones standing by doing jack squat. "I will scream and make things better ".... if people won't stand up for other people, were all screwed.

I bet that van door felt lovely on her legs as they jammed it down on her shins.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

She looked pretty combative to me, and no doubt they only showed the parts of the video that were favorable to her.

    It's happening in Canada too.

Great legal article in the Toronto Sun this morning. The onus is on the government, not the individual.

    https://torontosun.com/opinion/colum...charter-rights

"Curfews breach several Charter provisions. Section 2 protects the freedom to assemble and associate. Section 7 protects the right not to be deprived of liberty “except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.” Section 15 guarantees equality under the law."

"Concerning pandemic restrictions, courts will agree that governments have a valid objective in trying to address viral spread. However, governments defending curfews must provide evidence to the court that the use of curfews will actually impact viral spread in order to ensure a curfew rule can survive."

"It is nearly impossible to persuade a court to accept that the multiple Charter breaches which a curfew causes are justified when no evidence is presented to support such measures. Courts will also consider, with respect to whether Canadians’ right to liberty is infringed, whether a curfew is “arbitrary” or “overbroad.”

Wouldn't you be Rob..especially when the pulled her kid away from her ???

They' didn't show anything untrue, AND nothing can substantiate treating a woman (or anyone) like that for any reason. Especially for the perceived crime that would amount to a bylaw offence with a fine.

Pure Brutality under the watchful eye of their supervisor.

Take a look at the odds of infection on this, a woman and her child walking alone or eight slobs within her 6 feet of space. I wonder how they feel their actions are safer than letting her alone.
