Very little and very slanted based on what I have seen... it is interesting in Russia (even with Putin in power) the Gulag Archipelago is still required reading... be nice if that was here too as well as Tombstone about the Chinese famine and I would add Ordinary Men. I haven't read it yet and it sounds in the same "what man is capable of" category, the unicorns and rainbows utopia worlders need to realize there is such a thing as reality, then we can start to make progress. To paraphrase Jordan Peterson if a man doesn't realize there is evil and what men (inclusive) are capable of then they can't understand what is needed to live as a civilization.

I'd settle for just literacy.
