GoPro in the boat
Hey all, new member here with my first post.
So I just ordered a new Lund package and also picked up a new GoPro and a couple other off brand action cams. I plan to do a fair bit of fishing this upcoming season with my soon to be 7 year old. I’m hoping to capture some great footage of the two of us in the boat having a blast catching some fish.
I’m looking for any suggestions re mounts, mounting locations or any other tips you might have. Really hoping to hear from some folks that have experience with action cams in your boats.
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to you all

depending on the boat if you have the rear seat pedestal hole just in front of the motor you can make up a mount on a pole to face towards front of boat captures lots of area can also be changed to different seat bases if you are not using them and go to amazon you will see a kit you can buy with many mounting options run around 60.00. you can also bring the wife along as camera person. happy fishing

Good idea with the seat base/post.
I did snag a huge accessory kit that I was using with some cheaper Monster cameras that has a few different bases that I could try.

Nice boat, I have the 2014 model.
Have you looked into the Ram mount system for it? You can purchase different length arms and mount the balls in various locations in the boat. You can utilize the Sport track system on your boat to find the ultimate location or you could permanently mount the balls where it suits you best. I believe Cisco and Traxtech also have mounting systems for the GoPro but they are a little more pricey.
I really cringed the first time i drilled a hole in my new boat but it doesn't bother me so much anymore.

My buddy just bought the exact same boat (2020) from a marina in London. He got it home just in time to put it away for the season. Have fun with that boat buddy!
