Not totally a bad thing...the faster this virus spreads, the more people will get it, recover and the quicker the population will have herd immunity..Protect the vulnerable and weak and let the virus run it's course, then it'll be over before spring.

If you don't want to take a chance, then stay home, distance yourself and wash your hands. If you don't care, head to Costco...

Why do we need the government to make these choices for us.

In my very uneducated opinion (so it won't cost you anything) herd immunity is probably a good thing to a certain degree for less then a year, then the virus will have mutated enough just like almost EVERY OTHER VIRUS DOES and you will not be protected until your body builds up new antibodies. We still get the flu, colds, and whatever every year, we have vaccines guessed at every year and injected into bodies and it never ends.
Lockdowns will slow the spread to a certain degree, but is it really worth the emotional and financial damages this will entail.
I am not really happy that people who are not in the least bit directly affected with financial ruin and are probably even becoming more secure financially because of a lockdown with their investments are making these decisions that are ruining 10s if not 100s of thousands of middle income people and families.
