In my very uneducated opinion (so it won't cost you anything) herd immunity is probably a good thing to a certain degree for less then a year, then the virus will have mutated enough just like almost EVERY OTHER VIRUS DOES and you will not be protected until your body builds up new antibodies. We still get the flu, colds, and whatever every year, we have vaccines guessed at every year and injected into bodies and it never ends.
Lockdowns will slow the spread to a certain degree, but is it really worth the emotional and financial damages this will entail.
I am not really happy that people who are not in the least bit directly affected with financial ruin and are probably even becoming more secure financially because of a lockdown with their investments are making these decisions that are ruining 10s if not 100s of thousands of middle income people and families.
