Harper had a majority when the CPC passed the minimum sentencing guidelines. The Trudeau Liberals had a majority when they rescinded the legislation along with undoing the "common sense" firearms legislation. Ping Pong, anyone?

Has too much time on their hands
Let's not forget Harper put in legislation to reduce fraud and increase accountability on the reserves, Liberals reversed it.
... they also reversed many other items that benefited families, he reduced the pensions to the tune of an estimated $1,000,000 for his own pension, donated time and money to charities while Trudeau took money from school boards, charities and his family was into WE for $400,000+ , PM inviting terrorists to dinner... etc
But we are talking the legal system not the moral inferiority of the current gov't that is looked at as corrupt by other nations now that Trudeau is in power...
So back to our truly f***** up legal system. The blocking of investigations into corruption instead of the waving PM's privilege (like the previous PM did), we have MPs (Blair etc) lying about the legislation they are pushing, a PM lying about the reasons for the legislation and other things of course but they are off topic, in general it's obvious disregard for truth, evidence and integrity.
