Mosq. I assume that you are aware, that the person you love quote all the time, Eric Blair better known as George Orwell believed in Democratic Socialism, and supported that cause. He was a member of the Independent Labour Party. A party on the left. He was all the things you seem to detest. lol.

Yep, I know he was but as he got older he got smarter and if you read his writings... well I like this description.

Sadly some never gain any wisdom or just close their eyes and pick the course for their life they want, not the best course.

Mosq. That quote you just used sounds like it was written by a conservative so is meaningless unless you say who wrote it... . How convenient that someone you admire, lives most of his life as a Democratic Socialist , and left wing supporter, during that time he made all those quotes you like to use...... But in the end turns out to be a double agent, for the cons. That is rich....... Sounds like one of my favorite people, and mentor, Charles Templeton . I knew him well, and had many discussions, about his 'change of heart'. lol.

Some people just don't want to find or can't handle truth, sad. I hear the poor guy even got involved in the Liberal party.
