Proving yet again that what goes around comes around, the Trudeau Liberals, having accused the Conservatives all last week of spreading fake news about COVID-19, finished off the week on Friday by spreading fake news about the Conservatives and COVID-19.

That occurred when the Prime Minister’s Office issued a release just after 4:30 pm.
It said in a just-completed phone call with Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had “raised concerns around COVID-19 misinformation being promoted by Conservative Members of Parliament, given Conservative MPs recently downplayed the deaths of Canadians in Alberta due to COVID-19 and compared COVID-19 to the flu.”

The problem was the phone call wasn’t scheduled until 45 minutes later at 5:15 pm.

Alberta data shows that, as of last count, 76.3% of people who have died of COVID-19 were dealing with three or more underlying conditions. Those conditions range from more common ailments such as diabetes and hypertension to dementia, liver cirrhosis and cancer. Only 2.3% of deaths – 11 people – were otherwise healthy persons, dying without any underlying conditions. And those 11 include people who were very advanced in age.
While other provinces don’t make this information available, I have since written a second story on how StatsCan data confirms this is pretty much the same story nationally. And I have a third story on the same subject coming out soon.

Medical experts I interviewed for my stories – both infectious disease specialists and doctors treating COVID-19 patients in ICUs – said this was important data to report and discuss.

It underscores who is at high-risk of COVID-19 and deserving of extra attention and offers some insights into who is low-risk and therefore can potentially be freed from some of the more damaging restrictions we now live under.

On Thursday, Hajdu stretched things even further. She was asked by Conservative Health Critic Michelle Rempel a question about vaccines and deflected by responding that the Conservatives should have “stopped their members from sharing fake and dangerous news”.

The real danger is that it appears the Health Minister has allowed herself to become so focused on political games at a time such as now.

To Liberal's facts and reason are incomprehensible and dangerous it seems! We know that 98.5% of fatalities in Canada were in long term care, so less than 180 for ALL of Canada were NOT in long term care and of the total fatalities 1/2 were in Quebec with their Do not resuscitate and Do not hospitalize options ....

Good info...more and more cracks are appearing behind the Pandemic curtain. Every time it's pulled back, a look at the data doesn't support the draconian response by the governments.

AND it's not just Canada..it's spread across the globe, people are starting to question WTF is going on.

The world is being told lies by Politicians that strongly believe that people can't wipe their own butt without a Government intervention, and are now trying to convince us that a virus with a 99.99% survival rate in the general population means we have to give up ALL personal rights and freedoms.

You know that with that kind of attempt to gain control, they have made some mistakes.

If you listen on a quiet night you can hear the drums...The natives are growing restless.
