So why didn't they figure out a solution 8 months ago . If they knew they were going to resume work. What were they going to do with covid patients?

Is our government really that incompetent that they can only work on 1 issue at a time. . They planned for 8 months for this second wave and nothing was done .

Never mind all the other reasons why someone might be admitted to the hospital .

I'm starting to think they are investing more into shutdowns that's what it looks like.

    Than to covid 19 .

You need to invest in covid to save lives.

    Not just support shutdowns.

The middle class will vanish the poor ,well they will make a fire at the park.

So what happens when the numbers continue to rise for the next few weeks in these locked down areas. Remember they are supposed to be for 28 days. I can see the numbers increasing over the next few weeks before it get better just like the first shut down.

Then why is everyone saying Toronto is seeing sky rocketing but the truth is York region is worse off than Toronto .

Why does the numbers of cases mean anything [emoji1787]. York region is worse than Toronto and mayor John Tory is saying the numbers are out of control.

    Why is this ?

Toronto might actually be safer than York region yikes. Who would of thought

Scary we have these people making these decisions when they have no clue.

    More political game I'm afraid..

The case counts are meaningless...as are positivity rates now because the are only testing symptomatic people (of course they will be higher).

Watch the Hospitalisation and ICU numbers they tell closer to the truth. And at this point in time they are not at a CRISIS level.

The politicians will come out of this looking like very benevolent heroes because they will lift the 'lockdown' just prior to Christmas and make it look like there are doing us a favour.

Childish games being played with peoples livelihoods.

York region is almost twice as bad as Toronto but that's not what's been told.

York region 13 cases for every 100 thousand residents.

Toronto 7 cases for every 100 thousand.

Yet the average person is blind to see this. They see lots of numbers and cry .

Peel region is over 30 per [emoji817] thousand

Why's Toronto so much worse of than York ?

Because the government's don't want you to see this
    The media ?
    Just a bunch of hype.

I'm 50% less likely to catch covid in Toronto than York Region

Yet Toronto is out of control.

I see a huge problem with this.

A whole lot of the incompetent thing.

Don't forget that most of the policy and decisions are being made by civil servants..
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

You mean the ones that voted for Justin Trudeau's gun ban[emoji849] . How is that working [emoji23] they must be thrilled with all the shooting victims coming in.
Probably more bullet's flying around this year than the past 2 years.

Lots more 30 or 40 shots per shooting even some as many as 80 shots per shooting these days. Crazy crazy

Health care in the province is under control of the conservative government. They are not handling that file very well, so now you want to blame civil servants? As far as bed numbers go it is all on Ford. In 8 months all he has done for seniors is make it harder for them to sue for profit operators for negligence.

Come on FC...we all know that you enjoy being purposely contrary (trolling) but for Pete's sake at least don't lie. The present Health Care System was inherited from Wynne....what your saying is just silly:

Posted April 3, 2018 : Ontario doctors say ‘government mismanagement’ to blame for broken health-care system

An advocacy group which represents many of the province’s estimated 20,000 doctors says “gross mismanagement and negligence” under the current Kathleen Wynne Liberal government has seen billions of dollars cut to front-line care.

Concerned Ontario Doctors (COD) says the province has been cutting an average of $100 million since 2015, totalling close to $4 billion.

“They have chronically underfunded and cut our hospitals for 10 years,” COD president Dr. Kulvinder Gill told Global News Radio. “Physicians have had consecutive cuts for front-line patient care for seven years and we’ve been without a contract for physicians going into our fifth year, which is in Canada, unprecedented in its history.”
