Guess we will have to see what happens.

The main issues are that hospital's capacity are full. Well why wasn't that issue taken care of. ?

Why is that long term care homes are still an issue ? They needed to plan for this and they didn't.

Well lads and ladies you're being a little rough, this is a worldwide problem and I do not know of any place that had the perfect solution.

I guess the next election will give him his report card and I pretty happy as I do not think anyone could have done better in the circumstances.

Why are hospitals full already ?

Why are multiple people going into multiple long term care homes still? 10 months in .

Simple things to help keep businesses open and the economy running.

We are shutting down because we are still running the same show since pre covid.

These things help save lives like I said money can't save lives if it don't put into the right places.

Why do we have the highest debt with covid and no place for covid 19 patients? Besides our already overwhelmed hospital's?

They can blow 3 trillion dollars it they but if it's not going into the right places it will mean jack.

lets face it we had a hospital shortage last winter before COVID....this should come as no surprise.

We the people should be furious at ALL of our leaders past and present off all stripes which have left us in this dire situation (while also taxing us to the fullest)

Yeh they all need some blame,I remember when Chretien was balancing the budget he cut back on the health care across Canada and we lost something like 11,000 qualified registered nurses, many who went right down to the USA.Also a lot of Doctors went as well, was it worth it to balance the budget, I am not so sure.

Since health care is a provincial responsibility can't really be blamed on the Feds.

My wife was a newly graduated nurse the year Bob Ray decided we didn't need any nurses. She was bumped (union) from position to positions almost daily because of her low seniority.

Most Hospitals, in big cities, run at 110% capacity as the norm...it can take days to get a patient admitted from the ER to a bed in the hospital. Till then they lay on beds in the hall. That hasn't changed in many years. It's also the reason they lack any 'surge' capability when a pandemic hits.

Solution; private care...allow those that can pay, find their health care outside of the public system and ease the burden.

The reason that Hospitals are full right now is ALL Surgery and Medical Procedures that should have been done over that last EIGHT months are being done now. They are trying to catchup on eight months of Hospital visits in the last three or four months of this year.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.
