We are all in this together and we all support each other in contributions and taxes from everything for health to CPP. This Covid will be giving all of us a haircut.A few days ago I renewed a one year GIC last term 2.30% interest, this term 0.80%.

The pension funds are also taking beating.

Yeah that's true, forgot about that, FN does not pay taxes towards health care they should have to pay out of pocket then, they do not pay into CPP but I am unsure if they can collect it either.

Good for you GW, just be careful you don't get a haircut.I am pretty sure you don't have that in a one year GIC.

Investments during COVID.......Amazon - $2,400/share in and sold for $3,300/share in 6 months. Worst thing about this is the capital gains tax to pay for Justin's screw ups
