    Socialist party of Canada
    Communist party of Canada
    Democratic socialists of Canada
    International socialists
    New socialists
    Socialist project
    Fight back
    Socialist solidarity
This is the list of major socialist groups in Canada. Too many for my liking. Poor Canada.

Social organization owned and regulated by the community as a whole.

The level or socialism can change but to say we had no socialism before 1919 is an idiotic statement.
You see Fox-You have no clue what You are talking about...once more , again.
Which is fine, but calling my reply (which i believe was quiet level headed, and totally non personal-UNLES you read into it )idiotic- is borderline breaking Forum rules! If not breaking it outright......like: name calling.

I hope the Moderators read this post! And perhaps do something about your meaningless rant.

At the other hand my frined-just so You remember-I did NEVER ran to You in a PM,to cry on Your shoulders and get support from You(kind of in a funky way)but You my friend ran to me(even though we never bonded in any thread)...kind of in a way to show how much You are being pushed away on this Forum, and how much what i posted at the time ,was EXACTLY right(because it represented Your opinion!!!)
And stupid me-i gave You moral support.

You see my friend -i reply to You the last time, I think i will NOT waste my time with you anymore, because if i would spend more keyboard strikes on You-That would be IDIOTIC,from ME!

Oh-by the way-You have no clue what You are talking about ,because textbook socialisms(definition or else) is for the gullible, the naïve and for the people ,who believe everything what they read.

I am not the only one, likely there are more then one member ,who spent part of their life in a Socialist country-and they can tell you rows and rows of facts about socialisms.
    The real one.
I lived the life ,set by them, for more then 30 years-how much is Your real life experience with them............?
    Bye!

Reading through the squabbling and the original post I think it’s important to understand.

    1. Not everyone will ever be truly happy or satisfied with any political situation.
    2. ALL people are corrupt in some way and to some degree, pure honesty and altruism are only words.
    3. How can modern politics even work when political parties are ever changing their values/beliefs and even then, our system is designed in a way for new elections so frequently that no system is given a chance to prove its worth. One will usually reverse course on the previous and vice versa.
    4. Not one system is right or wrong, just different

    The Mosquito's addendum
    1) " free" does not actually mean free. A1) to those getting the "free" they are expected to blindly support those in power even to the deprevation of their neighbours and eventually themselves.
2 You are not entitled to someone else's hard earned money ... ever. A2) Those supporting the Socialist political group obtaining the power are entitled to be paid for their oppression and tyranny and those that actually work, innovate and think will be deprived of their funds.
3 You can not tax a nation into prosperity. A3) Socialist don't care, their plans are for the enrichment of themselves and those supporting the power structure they want.
4 The rich are not responsible for your financial situation you are. A4) Responsibility and integrity are the enemies of socialism, if you can make someone hate their neighbour, boss and educators you can make them do anything you want.
5 Socialism leads to communism always. A5) Socialism is the gateway to the creation of a political system where all authority is in the hands of the few and the oppression of free speech etc. It may stagnate or take the next step into the deprivations of the Communist system

To sum it all up, Socialism is the taking from the workers, innovators and thinkers to give to the political leaders and their supporters and opposition is oppressed.

You know looking at our gov't and the direction it is like:
telling talking points over and over until they are believed (facts be damned) is the most important - McKenna,
political agenda and telling us their "truth" (in contrast to facts) is more important than real truth - Bill Blair, Justlied Trudeau, McKenna
ethics violations and corruption don't matter if it is in Quebec or fits the political agenda - Gerald Butts,Blair, Trudeau, Morneau
Respect and integrity and diversity only matter if it fits their agenda - Freeland, Butts,Blair, Justlied Trudeau, Morneau etc. etc.

SInce our politicians are using the book 1984 as a model for the future, maybe we should see what someone that was in power in 1984 in the real world said... Margaret Thatcher once said that "The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money." - TRUE!... but with making the deficits bigger and bigger in their minds they never run out... and when do people start to care about real truth!

Give back your inoculations and other medical care, that was paid for by everyone. Oh, and stay off the roads, that was paid for by everyone as well. Include the sewage system, hydro lines, etc.

Socialism is necessary tor prosperity but there needs to be checks and balances to everything. Socialism that encourages a sedentary lifestyle where people leech off the system is going too far, this is where we are headed but look into your definition of Socialism, you have it wrong.
Fox you are confusing Socially beneficial projects with socialism.

A socially beneficial project is when a few people in the tribe decide to made a cysteine to hold water from rain fall, so that everyone in the tribe can have water.

Socialism is when a few people decide that the tribe has to give all the water to them to control.

Capitalism, is when a few people decide that the tribe will have to pay them for the water, owned by all.

Actually iot would be more like someone offers to fully maintain the system and in return you need to pay them. Unless you think they should work for free.

    Thanks for the laugh...😁

You have that a little messed up..
CAPITALISM is when a few people find out the tribe will pay them to bring water from the river for them. So they haul water, then some in the tribe trades food or clothes or tools for the water.

Then the Capitalists find out they can make money to build a well and then make money creating a bucket and rope and pulley setup, then to build pumps, windmills etc, then pipes, then eventually we have indoor plumbing, septic plants etc. While socialism sees someone paying to have a pump built and expects the buyer to pay for one for them and their neighbours too... once the buyer runs out of money he is blamed for not providing everyone the same indoor plumbing etc. as the next village etc. So you end up with an impoverished village, no motivation to improve and those that want to and can moving to the village where there are opportunities.
