Default 5 things socialists will never understand

1 " free" does not actually mean free.
2 You are not entitled to someone else's hard earned money ... ever.
3 You can not tax a nation into prosperity.
4 The rich are not responsible for your financial situation you are.
5 Socialism leads to communism always.

Tigboy-not challenging, just adding to Your remarks.

#5 , that is actually a wishful thinking. By socialist .A goal which can never be achieved(yet people and countries can/will be destroyed trying............)
Socialism is a transition time from Capitalism to Capitalism- so we said back home(believe me ,we had more experience with them ,then anyone was ever bargaining for )

Mice die in mouse traps because they don't understand why the cheese is free.
The same thing happens with socialism.

You know that there are come very good parts of Socialism but only Socialism is a problem.

If you don't like socialism then you need to give back any education certificates you have, that was paid for by tax payers dollars, and yes, a good chunk of college and university tuition too. Give back your inoculations and other medical care, that was paid for by everyone. Oh, and stay off the roads, that was paid for by everyone as well. Include the sewage system, hydro lines, etc.

Socialism is necessary tor prosperity but there needs to be checks and balances to everything. Socialism that encourages a sedentary lifestyle where people leech off the system is going too far, this is where we are headed but look into your definition of Socialism, you have it wrong.

No I don't have it wrong fox I disagree with your statement. I believe this great country is going down a very slippery slope very fast and sooner rather than later we just may reach the point of no return but hey you do you and believe what you want to believe.

Fox-socialisam has nothing to do with what You stated .
Before 1919 there was zero socialist countries.Zero socialist governments.Everyone was capitalist one way or another.Only the political system was different(kingdom, republic, empire You name it).
Most of the things you chalk up to socialisms were in place ,alive and well................

My granddad lived in a kingdom-my dad lived in kingdom(different one).Later in his adult life he lived in a socialist country(neither by choice). Both kingdoms had education at the level of times, they both had basic health care, and the Toll roads were a hearsay-everyone could travel on any road freely.
The only difference between what i saw/heard or experienced is the differnece between socialisam/capitalism is the level of available health care and the level of education.

Both are mostly made available nowadays with the taxation. Worldwide.
Lower taxes-lesser free (or available)level. More taxes-more free(or widely available) level.

Or more free level should be-but many times is not. That depends on Governement at hand.......

Believe me-learning about the world and history from education system and Internet will give You what they want to give you.

    so·cial·ism
    /ˈsōSHəˌlizəm/
    noun
    noun: socialism

a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Right there, the definition as it is in the dictionary.

Social organization owned and regulated by the community as a whole.

Sorry buddy, but SOCIALISM by definition was the bases for our country.

The level or socialism can change but to say we had no socialism before 1919 is an idiotic statement.

Idiotic statements are generally made following misinterpretation of the original statement, as seen in the above quote.
