    Default 24 years today

Well the wife and I have been married 24 years today (My parents called to remind me ), Am I actually suppose to get something special was just going to run out now and get some flowers for her and I don't remember getting anything last year. I did make a nice dinner. Next year were doing something nice for the 25th we are suppose to go on a cruise but who knows now that could be cancelled and we might have to do something else.

But yup 24 years, some probably wonder how she could put up with me that long and it's all in the training.

I haven't changed much from when we first met same attitude maybe stronger in my beliefs but they are still the same. I still rant a lot and probably more.

My parents are married 55 years this year, so were 31 behind them, doubt I would live long enough to make 50 years of marriage maybe 40.

Well I better go get some flowers hopefully I can find something for under 15 bucks.

Congratulations, greatwhite. Covid-19 has taken the romance out of the traditional anniversary stuff. Maybe,a trip to the flowers and jewelry store is in order.

OK, got myself a six pack and the Wife some purple flowers 10 bucks for flowers that live for only a few days. I figured I should get the medium priced ones didn't want to look cheap could have got the 7 dollars ones.

I also made a big dinner and something I know she liked that I made twice this year.

BBQ Sliced red Potatoes with rosemary
BBQ Pit boys Chicken Dragon Eggs
    and salad.

Good to see the romance never dies. I’m only 12 years in on my life sentence. Nothing says I love you more then fresh veggies from the garden and a good bbq steak.

Well, let's not go too far overboard. Maybe you should pick some flowers off the neighbors and cook her some burgers.

You cheap out on flowers that won't live too long, you may not either. I wouldn't be standing near any woodpiles for awhile.
Regardless, congrats on your 24 years.
