It will be interesting to see how any of the officer's will get a fair trial? Anyone in the U.S. who hasn't been swayed either way about this case has been living under a rock?

I wonder what the cops would do if you were an innocent teenager and it was your first time out with the boys, and one of the kids in your car jumps out and starts to kick the crap out of someone, lays on his neck and he dies, all the while you are standing around and watching. I mean you didn't mean to be there, but you think the cops would have sympathy, or do you think they'd ask ... why didn't you intervene? Why didn't you contact the police?

Why should those cops get any special treatment?

Do you really think any of them wanted for that man to die, especially in broad day light and on camera..... Something went terrible wrong with their judgement. No man deserves to die like that.

Maybe not,but,they obviously didn't care,either,making the entire incident infinitely worse.

From the look of things two of the officers were rookies (one officer was only on his 3rd shift as a police officer) and the other officer doing the kneeling was their training officer. You can't possibly expect those two guys to speak up with any conviction if they want to keep their career in line.

You and I know that's absolutely true,but,a jury will never buy it.

And therein lies the problem. There's a few hundred million folks in the U.S. (and elsewhere) crying for blood. Where the hell will they ever find an impartial jury or judge? The lawyers for the accused will be bringing that issue to the forefront, I'm sure.

They will not get a fair trial....period! We all remember what happened when the officers involved with Rodney King were acquitted !!!! The US will burn to the ground if that happens here. No Judge or Jury will allow the repercussions .....

Sadly many get a badge and gun and attitude. Fortunately many are decent, good men and women who serve and protect.
Rookie 3rd shift, following with a training officer. He should be a witness not a defendant, that was his on the job training? Hard to blame a student for what he's being trained to do.
Bad cops come in all colors, they dont care what color you are, they brutalize who ever the f×=% they want.
I can attest, I have met enough of them...

Rick, I agree with the idea that the evidence will be presented in court and there are many facts to sort out....but the video evidence doesn’t lie. We’re all just giving our opinions, and it’s not as if any of them really count for much.

Some have asked what Floyd’s alleged crime was....I read somewhere that police were responding to a report of a counterfeit $20 bill. Picture that.

I’m not usually one to take the side of the flaky lefties, but if you start out poor, are jobless (maybe or maybe not due to Covid), likely have no health insurance.....the thought of losing your life over 20 bucks just makes me wonder if we have really progressed much as a society.

They had a chance then to make a small difference, and chose to side with the "Blue wall" rather than make the right choice. Which was to convict. Here we are.
