It is happening in Canada also. we have instead our " Indigenous people " problem , they way they are treated by most in power starting with our Gov., and it trickles down to the way the coloured minority groups are handled/looked at.
It isn't as blatant as it is in the U.S., but it is still there "racism".

Like Sawbill says,it's not a simple "black and white" (no pun intended) issue. It never is. It's real easy to fall into that trap. A lot of times,"racism" is nothing more than people acting like a**holes. There's a knack to telling the difference and it only comes with experience and wisdom.

Tonights News on TV, both National and local was mostly about Racism.
On the National News, it showed a segment , here in Canada, where an RCMP Vehicle and the officer inside came up to an drunken Innuit and the cop opened his door knocking the man down purpoesly and then getting out and arresting him.
Racism was definitely mentioned and the RCMP cop was put on suspension.
We do definitely have it here in Canada.

Maybe the big question is what gives all the African Americans the right to riot, loot and burn buildings and vehicals to the ground? As far as Canada gos, what gives the FN's the right to block and shutdown railways and set fire to the tracks when they leave and not charged for any federal offences? Quite often a certain race of people become their own worst enemy from their own actions. Some may call it racism but what or how you expect anyone to have respect from repeated criminal behavior to try and get what they want? It's simply a form of extortion and most people dont agree with it. What's unfair is watching this kind of BS to go on with little to no consequence.
