With arms like that , he would now be a goner. We last fought China in 1950-53. If he was 20 then, he would be 90 now. He looks like he's 60 ish and had a tough life.

He's American, they were playing hide and sneak in South East Asia till 1975..The fall of Saigon.
So 60ish would be right.

Why in the heck is that?
that's going to be when things get better when we have hard 50 to 60 percent of a herd immunity.
Our current number put us at a small herd immunity 1 percent if that, but I think we could have more of a herd immunity 20 percent or better. Lost of December and January illness and many more recently that our government refused to test.
I am remembering more about my December issue, I may have infected many if it was what I had . Many people I had directly contacted ended up with severe pneumonia or little symptoms at all. People I was with thier spouses were hospitalized in December and January with pneumonia . My one buddy was bed ridden about 2 weeks after my my flu like bug.
I had gone to a Christmas party in late December felling better. The say I had bronchitis from being a chronic smoker. The beginning of January their entire family was wiped out with with a bug so bad they never felt better.
Could it be ?

I am 63 and about 10 years to young to have fought in Vietnam. I do remember the body counts every night on the news. 125 American troops died today, and 650 Viet Cong. So sad.

I think its mandatory now for hospital staff and ltc workers to get the shot now adays no?
They are not testing the hospital staff if they show no symptoms so only some of the infected staff will be tested. It's a shame they will not test them all. But then again they need the workers so 5hey cant sent everyone home. If you are a hospital staff infected and show no symptoms they are spreading it .

If your 63 then you would have been 18 in 1975 when the war ended..
November 1 1955 till April 30 1975.
It didn't help the a US Senator or Congressman was running a program that was drafting men with substantially lower then normal IQ's for the war. They died at 5 times the rate of non-moronic soldiers. The Forest Gump and bubba characters are an example. And yes his program would have allowed you to enlist at 16..
