Thumbup Uncommon Sense that Every Canadian Needs to See.

I'm not sure of the identity of the writer, but,he's right on the money. We really need to pay attention to these folks.

Anything left in Canada worth fighting for?

While the recent gun ban still evokes a lot of emotions, my question has been brewing for a lot longer than that. Is there anything left in Canada and in the West in general to preserve and fight for? I'm an immigrant from a former USSR region, so I realize that my position and options can be very different from those born here. Canada provided me with great economic and professional opportunities since I got here, but politically and socially it's been on an accelerated decline. It is now ruled by communist, neo-feminist, gender and fascist ideologies, drama teachers and political correctness. It adopted body mutilation as a treatment for mental illness. It hates "whiteness" under the guise of fighting racism. It hates and destroys masculinity and men in general. It indoctrinates children as young as kindergarten with all sorts of degenerate and communist propaganda. It pushes degeneracy in form of "training" in the work place at the threat of terminating employment. It imports by the boatloads people with incompatible cultures that have no interest in assimilating or even accepting Canadian culture. It can jail citizens for refusing to think and speak how protected groups decide you should think and speak, and for holding personal property that is not linked to any criminal activity or victim.

Those who elected Trudeau and are now gloating at their fellow citizens losing their rights and freedoms, deserve neither Liberty nor Security. They deserve every bit of pain and tyranny coming their way next. I just don't want to be on the receiving end of that.

I know that this forum is mostly about firearms, but I think this community has a better sense of what's going on outside of firearms politics and can provide a better perspective that any other group out there. Despite having said the words, I don't owe any allegiance to some f**ing queen or a drama teacher. So, what values does Canada still have that are worth fighting for?

Don’t agree with everything, but as a general, over arching viewpoint I would say

    “Bang on”

Look at what “we” have allowed to occur here in Ontario is say 2006 or 2008. Look at the cost. And still, soooo many are at best ambivalent.

Look at much stuff covered recently as a result of the gun ban. Be it further alienation of the West, the OIC, creating a wedge, inflaming citizens during Covid. <<<< none of which have anything to do with “the ban, yay or nay”

    Anything worth fighting for?

Apathy in a nut shell... At one time it didn't exist here in Canada... Way back when the oil companies tried to raise a gal of gas by a quarter, the people went crazy, and it was changed the very next day back to what it was. Maurice Richard was suspended and the public went wild, actually rioted... Now a days seems that everyone is just too passive " Apathy" and living on promises ...

Peterson reads a book a day and retains everything in its content. You don't debate the guy. Probably the smartest Canadian or north American alive today.

Sure you do! Iron sharpens iron.... odds of you winning ... well that's another matter altogether.
I would love to spend a day on the boat or the deck at the cottage in a canoe debating and arguing with him about possibly100 different topics and hearing his perspective, talk about those he's met and talked to etc.
I am happy if I get through a book in a month given my schedule, my laziness etc., the Robert Spencer book on the history of Jihad probably took me well over a month with it's thickness, the topics and going back to correlate some of the numbers involved and dates etc. The one on the 618 Mosquito squadron is half the thickness and is likely to be a much faster read since its history is a few years not centuries where something like the Jihad in India will be next to the invasions into Spain or Paris and the history in India not continued until 3 chapters later etc. so I am far off his schedule for sure! No my library (and with books on work, my wifes books, the kids books it is probably more than the small library we had in the town I was a small kid) has alot from over 10 of the 100+ year old F.W. Boreham (long story on how I got some of them) to the newest probably the book that just came out on the 618 squadron and the book I just finished, a debate or books swap with him... I'm in... in and win being different though if it is an actual debate!

No with him it would be actual points and discussion instead of points and the idiot responses that amount to saying yer spellin is wong, therefore yer point is invalid or the change in topic since they can't win.

    P.S.
For example of above responses... https://www.oodmag.com/community/sho...=1#post1113425
