I can’t stand Liberals and “the left”. Mainly I think because over the last 20 years. They have done soooooooo much damage. It’s entirely possible if Cons had ruled for the last 20 years. I’d have a serious hate on for them to.
No matter how much disdain I have for JT. And there’s plenty. I am so glad we don’t have Trump. It’s that old expression. Things could always be worse.

I miss Obama. I don’t agree with all his policies. He was one of those rare politicians that tried to do the right things. Honest and honourable, and could speak to the nation.
The US sure could use him now.

Sorry, but think you're pushing it just a little bit with Obama. I lost any respect for that man after an incident where a white cop shot a black man dead in the middle of the street. There was the usual hue and cry from the black community even though the man was directly threatening the officer with a handgun. He had just finished doing an armed robbery of a convenience store and before O'bummer knew any of the facts of the case he had thrown the officer under the bus citing the racism card. So, who was actually playing the racist card?
Anyway, back to the thread...……...

Me to. There was a lot of hope initially he’d bring the country together. Today, the polarization is worse. Most do some good, and some bad. He was a great orator and could talk to the nation amongst other things. Doesn’t mean he was great, or didn’t do bad in other areas.
Think about him vs JT, at the podium
