More travelers sick in Niagara but testing is not being done .
I bet we are in the thousands of untested cases and many are just continuing their daily lives.
My brothers work they had a worker come onto work his mother was tested positive after he mentioned that they sent him home for 2 weeks. Who says he didn't get the crew sick in the few hours he was there. .

How would those same people react if they were ,'ordered' or 'forced', (how?) to stay home? China's way of controlling it is not possible here, as the citizens would not stand for it. Will we go with 'obey or die' ?

Definitely there are thousands of unconfirmed/untested cases ... the guy that died yesterday from Milton ... results came in positive after he died.
There's a huge backlog on tests, and they won't add any numbers to the stats it until the test comes back positive. Furthermore, they are TURNING AWAY many
people who don't show full fledged symptoms (from what I've heard), with seeming the most important being body temperature. So those showing early
signs of symptoms are not being tested (the guy who died yesterday was apparently first turned away for testing, and given antibiotics ... his situation got worse, then
they tested, he died, and after that test results came back positive).
No doubt, everyone knows it ... there's more people who have it than what the stats say ... because that is how the system is designed (they are applying a factor to estimate the number of infections based on the number of confirmed cases ... it may be possible, by considering data from other countries to estimate that factor ... but I don't see anyone doing that right now).

I encourage you guys to look at these stats ... look at how vertical the US line is on new cases ... it's worse than every other country!

That man from milton was from a committee spread. Remember one of the few first cases a man from milton took the transit from milton to Toronto for many days before he realized he was sick. It's been spreading for a over a week now for many who have no idea.
We are supposed to live like this until when ?
Until we passed the curve? Until its finished we wont be flattening the curve for a while the way we a doing things it could take a month to flatten the curve. Maybe even 2 months before we start seeing numbers decline.
Then what happens when when we all come out from hibernation the cycle will continue and boom again.
I wouldn't be surprised if China is back in business next week. If they keep the production going keep the doors closed except for goods and services they will be alright. While the rest of the world is too weak to do the drastic changes they did.
It's over there in China they are almost 95 cleared while the rest of the world will take much much longer to solve. If we keep spreading it how will it clear? How will it clear when we did what we do ? This is only the beginning we need to act how China did it . If not the spread will continue for a very long time.
I personally dont think we will clear as fast as China because we wont take the necessary steps to contain this virus.
We need to shut down Canada we need to not go out we need to keep our border sealed until this is over.

Has too much time on their hands
Fishfood we are in this for a long time to come. Cases are multiplying far higher then the numbers posted because the majority of sick people are being refused testing, and many people are still living normal going to work running errands visiting family and friends. If we knew the real numbers of infected it was cause widespread panic and possible chaos. We haven't seen anything yet, wait until our healthcare system becomes overloaded, that's when the death count will rise.

It's the only way it's going to work
You watch a see China will be back to work and business as usual. They will be booming while the rest will try and fight this battle that can't be controlled. It cant be controlled or contained so how are we going to fix it. ? Remember this is just the beginning and it is almost over in China. How can they be Finnished when the rest of the world is just starting.
If drastic changes are not made there is no chance of stopping it.
The virus lives for days on objects its highly contagious and many dont get many symptoms. So when will it end?
If we continue to stay open we will continue to spread. Sorry but I would rather be locked down in my house for a month then continue the slow ruit for the next 3 months or more.
If we locked down last week just saying.
We wouldn't be seeing the numbers we are now by next week the dropping by the week after we would be all cleared. Keep the borders closed and only essential goods can leave Canada. The risks would remain very low as it only be delivery drivers crossing the boarder. That being said they can easily be tracked and tested for any symptoms or virus.
Imagine that if had taken the rout China did last week we would have 0 cases in Canada in 2 weeks. But in return we will take the long road and try and slow it down. Slowing Downs the invisible virus or catching the invisible virus can't be done.
So either step up or continue the slow rd, that more than likely wont break the cycle.
