The silliness of using Dr's to support this ban will bite them in the backside when they decide that the government should also ban Alcohol, a far more insidious problem to the health care of Canadians.

I guess you have not read the position of the Green Party and NDP on gun control?
So there appears to be 4 or 5 of you who all agree with each other on here, from the posts I am reading. There are 2.2 million licensed gun owners in Canada and AN ESTIMATED another 1.1 million gun owners who have never registered a gun or even got a license. So from a possible source of support of 3.3 million people, some 200 thousand have signed the petition against the government.
Now considering this is a petition originating in Alberta, a Province at war with the government daily and with an axe to grind, the veracity of the petition is very much in question. How do we know that its not multiple votes being done by individuals.
I would not be betting a minority government would have much trouble doing what they promised to do in the last election.Hey look on the bright side and smile, you might get free dental out of the deal.

Of course they will, if it against the law the will have to give them up, just like drug trafficking is against the law. Gangster don't sell drugs either

I always get a great laugh out of the Conservatives, even McKay last week in his announcement to run. They always use the same speaking points and so,so outdated and over used.WE WILL SUPPORT THE MIDDLE CLASS,CUT YOUR TAXES,COMPLETE PIPELINES,CONTINUE TO BE A RESOURCE COUNTRY,BASICALLY THE OLD hewers of wood and drawers of water.
So Canadaman 30 can you tell us how much you saved when the Conservatives under Mr Harper were in power? Did he run a deficit YUP
Was it in his second term YUP,Did your taxes go down, did the price of houses go up,Did your wages go up,Could you find employment easily,
How were you better off.
He got backed to the hilt by gas and oil companies, how about your grandkids bill for global warming.Oh silly question you probably do not believe in global warming and neither does MrMc Kay. In the meantime the Chinese are light years ahead of us and the USA.
