Thanks for posting this. Trust everyone who cares about animals should take the time to fill out the survey.

(Recommend you post your post in the sporting dog general category too.)

Is anyone else a lot more comfortable that this survey and possible changes will occur under a Ford government compared to one run by Wynne?

    Ya think HaHa...

We've all heard the classic Liberal's phrase : "legislation that provides greater transparency and accountability," is a sure sign that this is Liberal leanings.

We'll have to be very vigilant in how this is drafted to protect farmers and hunters from undo restrictions. What sound perfectly acceptable laws to protect the 'pets' of our society often will make the way we handle livestock/hunting illegal.

There is plenty of history available on the net on how potentially dangerous these pieces of legislation are. Do some reading and make sure you respond with specific occurrences and activities that would make working in the livestock/hunting industry an illegal activity.

If you don't already know, this is in response to the OSPCA withdrawing from their regulatory role.

    That's extremely good advice.

OSPCA Enforcement has morphed into the most dangerous quasi-judicial NGO in Canadian history. With a long, long list of illegal search and seizures, frivolous and vexatious charges and prosecutions leaving nothing in their wake except exorbitant legal expenses and destroyed reputations,it's high time that organization's wings were clipped and shut down.
