98% of guns seized originate from the USA
I was listening to the CBCradio program Day 6 and there was an interview with an expert from the USA talking about the number of guns illegally smuggled into Mexico f rom the US. Mexico apparently has very strict gun laws while states such as Texas have almost no gun laws. When asked about the number of guns coming into Canada illegally, she stated that 98% of the firearms seized as a result of crime can be traced back to the US.
Why don’t we hear this type of information?

Thats why I think banning guns in the city is pointless. That is also why John tory said if it just saves one life it would be worth it,being as only 2 percent of the guns used in crimes come from here. They just want a reason to ban them when in reality it wont change the amount of gun crime in the city. So is it it realy worth it? Will it in alll seriousness stop the gun crime if you ban the gun in the city?
No it won't. Like I said before they have been coming across the border for years. Every day a new gun is arriving from across the border.
No one ever believes me here but the truth of the matter I know my . Banning the hand guns will not help.
I lived the game I know the game I got outta the game 20 years ago but you think its changed. No it hasn't. I still follow and listen to whats going on in the world today. Now I just laugh and shack my head. I know people who all they wanted in life was to make the front paper of the news , how messed up is that? And they are happy being close to 40 being on the front pages.
I keep my kids away from these types of people. If I know your doing hard drugs then no my kids wont hang with there kids. I tell my kids things that they know we talk about about whats going on .. so far I have them on an ok path oldest 2nd year of college the middle is in high school. They respect others dont smoke and have good intentions in life.
I will talk to anyone at any time im a nosey bastrd.
Anyway most people dont realy know whats going on in the real world. I would say 30 percent knows the real reality of life.
Ps buying a gun is easier than most think I bet if I wanted to I could buy online . You can get anything online. .

We don’t hear the truth because it doesn’t fit into the Liebral’s anti gun narrative. They want Canadians to believe that the bulk of seized crime guns are from legitimate licensed firearms owners !!!!
CBC better watch out disseminating the truth....the village idiot will cut their funding !!!

After the CPC wins the next election,I hope they completely de-fund the state propaganda machine of The Liberals forcing them to close or find private funding. CBC's reputation as being the unbiased national voice was compromised decades ago.

If history is any guide that is sadly a pipe dream. Max stealing votes via the PPC won't help either.

I don't think the PPC will be anything except a local "rump" party. Remember what a clusterf**k Lucien Bouchard was when he pulled the same thing? All he accomplished was to throw a monkey wrench into Quebec politics.........not that it didn't need it.

I don’t agree Trimmer. Lucien Bouchard’s party won the official opposition and that’s not something to go unnoticed.
I think Max’s strategy is to steal enough votes to sway the positions of the two mainstream parties, and as much as I want to see a CPC return to power, I think the electorate really needs to be hit over the head before they realize change is needed. Look at how long McGuilty and Wynne hunt on. Changes to firearms laws shld be expected after this fall’s election.
