As some of you know, I picked up my very first boat this year (a 2018 Nitro Z19 Sport). In it, my family and I were blessed with an exceptional soft water season and my 9 year-old caught (and lost) some truly epic largemouth bass and really cemented her fishing addiction. Her biggest Ontario bass was a 4.3 lb (scaled) LM!
I have WAY too many great pics to share, but, wanted to post a couple from our outing last week: a 5.6 lb (scaled) LM and a giant surprise muskie, which were caught on successive casts - 2 casts = two titans! Both beasts were released safely and successfully after a couple of photos. That Summer-Fall transition can really produce some monsters!
We really are so very fortunate to be able to call this great province "home".
Let's all enjoy this incredible resource safely and respectfully.
I'm very happy with my Nitro and even happier with my Talons!
Also, the muskie catch was NUTS - it hit my topwater twice: it missed on the initial hit and slammed my follow-up cast. I have great GoPro footage, but don't know how to post it here.
