We had an interesting discussion going about the greatest generation in this off topic section of the forum - where the discussion can be about anything even if it is not connected with the outdoors - but for some reason it was closed - well I will tell you something -- I'm out of here for good - who the hell does this administrator think he is anyway - cause he doesn't like something it has to go - this is my last post - best wishes to all you guys and gals - it has been a good ride but like everything else it has an ending - maybe I'll see you on the water - remember keep a sharp hook and enough ammo around -

I would bet it was not shut down because of your comments. It was shut down because of others going crazy in attacking you.
I'm a mod on the Gundog Forum and I tell you that often a mod can not win. Shut it down and many are glad; shut it down and many are mad. Discussions are great , but once nasty name calling starts and goes on for ..........threads are shut down.
You take a lot of abuse on here Joe; actually I don't know why you set yourself up for that .
I enjoy reading your opinions and you are entitled to them. Give it a rest and come on back.

Stick around,JoePa. That thread getting shut down wasn't your fault. Because of the usual suspects,it went completely sideways violating every rule in the book. Mark didn't have a lot of choice.
