Fox - few people have any problem with safe storage if you got children around the house - but to many "safe storage" doesn't mean locked up in a safe without any ammo around - any reasonable person should be extra careful if there are children in the house - because some dummies leave loaded guns around the house and don't teach their children not to touch them why should millions of other people be required to obey another law making it mandatory to put guns in a safe - just think how many laws are written because some fools don't know how to be safe - then the government ends up controlling another aspect of your life -

In Canada you can have your ammo locked in the same container as your guns, you can have a magazine loaded and in the same case as your gun.

No there needs to be some changes - no problem with requiring background checks at gun shows - need administrators and teachers able to have guns in schools if they want - tighten admittance into schools - establish tough mandatory sentences for gun related crimes - get rid of liberal democrats - like the mayors in big cities - who can't reduce crime in their cities - we got a crime problem not a gun problem - why - because of the family breakdown in our society and the lack of moral standards - when I see what has happened over the years I am not surprised as to what is happening -

Look at our government - it is corrupt through and through - politicians can't be trusted to do the right thing - all they worry about is keeping their fat money making jobs so that they can keep getting richer - Bill and Hillary are worth $124,000,000 after working all of their lives in the government - the upper staff of the FBI and CIA are corrupt - Judges are on the take - you can go on and on - why is this - the people have lost their moral direction and keep putting these bums in office - 60 million babies killed in abortion clinics and people turn their head and have the nerve to criticize the Nazis - I believe our country is in for a big awakening and it deserves it - Amen

Well said JoePa. Its definitely a very complex problem. People that are scared of changes never accomplish nothing. When you have no moral standards the respect is lost and it becomes a very slippery slope. I don’t know what it will take to fix it.
