Talked to my friend this afternoon, he is on a vac. system here in SW On. and up to now he has barreled 300 liters of finished syrup , the sap has been running well, but has slowed down since this past Monday.
With the warmer days and cold nights returning it will run well again and this trend should continue to the end of the month at least according to the weather bureau.
The quality is very good with a high sugar content.

Started good for me but its slowed right down now. I put 46 taps in on Feb. 20th, collected about 400l so far, and have 9.5 litres finished. It needs to warm up just a little more. I'm in the PTBO area.
