Fox - "Check in and see what poverty looked like in the 1930s and earlier, back when families stayed together." Boy Fox do you realize that you just went full circle and are back to where I was when I said that even if you are poor but have a strong family structure - crime is not a by-product - that is exactly what I said when i told you that myself and others were poor and did not end up committing crime - thank you for agreeing with me for a change - even if you didn't intend to - you made my day - thanks

During the salve trade years black tribes were involved in rounding up people from other tribes to be sold as slaves - the Arabs were the major slave traders - everyone who does any wrork with inner city people will tell you that the biggest problem is the lack of a good family structure - kids without a loving mother and father - and until this is recognized and deal with you will never fix the problems in the inner cities - that is one of the biggest reasons why problems of all sorts are never fixed - because the truth cannot be stated without someone calling you a bigot or racist - you can't say what is true because it might offend someone - and God forbid - you don't dare offend anyone today - that is why some dopey PM is advocating that we omit the word man from everything

Maybe , just maybe parental responsibility was detrimental in the past ,when humans were bred by their owners,( to people they didn't love, against their will), the children removed from parents and put into 2 categories, field or domestic, for many generations.

Sorry Fish" but that ain't the cause of family breakdown in black families that we see today - at one time black families were very close but when the government started making it profitable to have babies without fathers around the situation grew out of hand - a girl was being brought up in a small apartment with 6 or 9 other siblings and then finds out that she can get her own apartment if she has a child and then gets a monthly check from the government - then finds out that she can get a bigger check if she has more children - so after having 6 to 10 kids she's doing ok - but unfortunately without a good father around to help raise the kids many turn to gangs and crime - the government promoted this sad commentary - this chain of poverty has to be broken by getting a good solid family structure accepted to these communities - otherwise you are p------ into the wind

Agreed JP. Well they were forced labour for 245 years, 10 generations, the 8th great grandparents. They have been free for 150 years,( on paper), not near as long. Back then they had to do the hard work for no pay. I guess some want- feel entitled, to do it the other way around. Pay backs can be a ......
