Has too much time on their hands
No, taxpayers pay CBC over $1,000,000,000 a year ($100,000,000 a month) so we deserve better .... I said CBC coverage sucks.... why would "other channels" coverage have anything to do with the facts about CBC. It is like me saying Justin Trudeau is an idiot and unethical but you pointing out there is actually a liberal that has common sense and integrity ..... somewhere.
NBC covers more and a better selection of the events with 20 or 30 minutes of coverage as compared to no coverage from CBC and 3 hours of curling or figure skating... and guess what they are covering now at this moment .... curling again! The whole game..... and not even a semi or medal game.... but hey if you like the hours... and hours ... and hours of curling.... enjoy.
P.S. I flipped back to C Boring C and still curling .... they just showed the what I think was the Norwegian coach .... in one of the front row the Korean actually there watching actually looked like he was asleep.... paying to go to an event and sleeping .... :-)In the mean time NBC has shown women's moguls for about 30 or 40 minutes and just started men's figure skating.... #DefundCBC

CBC covers the events, not just highlights but you are right, this afternoon they didn't show you an event, that was shown live 17 hours earlier, while you were battling windmills. It's currently 10:37 am Monday morning in PyeongChang I'll try not to spoil your Monday evening tv viewing.

Well, Im in the States right now trying to get some Canadian content in the games. Predictably Im getting mostly American dominated events with NBC. I would much rather have the choices wehave at home even if it isfrom a subsidised CBC.
I love to watch curling and the Cdn mixed doubles has just been preempted by snowboarding--another judged event.

Has too much time on their hands
They keep talking about downhill events getting cancelled and I THINK ....that the one resort I put a link to is one of the downhill courses.

The difference in time is such that right now the sun is just rising and if you go to the top of the mountain (Camera #9) IT IS WINDY! I think I would be a bit nervous just riding up in one of those gondolas little alone trying to go down that hill with any speed! The camera is shaking, and the gondola swinging, you can see some of the sun hitting the top of the mountain.... looks like another day of cancellations if that is the mountain or the course is near by.
