Thumbs down Fed Issue #52 - Canada hands off equipment and 200 troops to the UN

Once again we see the Liberals trying to suck up to the UN and selling off our troops ... the same troops in the past they cancelled the Sea King replacement, bought used subs that got a sailor killed, had our troops in jungle camo sent to Afghanistan in almost unarmoured vehicles AND get assigned to Khandihar.....

and more recently cancelled and deferred purchases of equipment, put in pay cuts for injured elites and had the MP in charge of the military lie repeatedly about his career.

Now the Libtards have handed off 200 soldiers and equipment as a payoff to the UN .... probably the same troops they put the pay cut in place for if they are injured.

The Canadian government announced it will offer armed helicopters, transport aircraft, and up to 200 soldiers for UN peacekeeping missions but has not yet agreed on where those capabilities will be deployed.

The 200 soldiers will serve as a quick reaction force, Canadian officials said during the Vancouver Peacekeeping summit on 15 November. The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) will provide armed CH-147 Chinook (CH-47) and CH-146 Griffon (Bell 412) helicopters. Tactical airlift support will be provided in the form of the CC-117 (C-17) Globemaster or the CC-130J (C-130J) Hercules aircraft. Both the helicopters and aircraft will be made available to the UN for a 12-month period.

I can make guesses as to what the tasks will be like .... suppression of Kurdish "rebellion", training Hamas troops .... ah never mind ... I hope I am wrong BUT I am sure the UN will come up with a way to waste Canadian lives.... I mean put them to use.

We don't need any more Rwandas. We should never send our people into some Asian or African shyte hole without full combat footing and heavy back up within close distance for rapid deployment including our own R.O.E that's not dictated by the UN leftist-lib dipshytes. Then again,we're dealing with our own Left-Lib whankers, aren't we? This will NOT end well.
