horseback riding.
Hello everyone. My girlfriends birthday is next week and I was hoping to take her horseback riding. She has never been. Does anybody have any first hand experience or recommendations for any decent farms or ranches within a 2 - 3 hour drive from Toronto?
Thanks.

Use to go here https://horsebackadventures.ca/years ago and it was perfect for the wife. I grew up on horses and it was an alright day for me as well.
**Click the link then click on the company's logo it'll bring you to the page, then check out the trail riding**

OP,
This might be your best bet. I have ridden some of the trails through the Ganny and it is a beautiful ride. Make sure you tell the outfit you are riding with that your GF has no experience on a horse and they should match her up with an older one who won't need a strong hand.
Here is the link for the Sandarask Park (trailer park on the NW side of the park, it is really easy to get there off Hwy 115) :https://sandaraskapark.ca/equestrian/ . Another outfit based out of Millbrook (little town near the park) which rides the park is: http://www.tricklecreekfarms.com/index.htm
