"Feeling(s)" IS EXACTLY one of the world's problems. Feelings can be a poor decision making tool.
I agree it would be nice to live were there are no evil people, no crazy radicals, no mental illness or stupid hug a thug governments, but that only exists in the minds of those saddled with "feelings".

The ones with the "feelings" are the ones who belive that having a gun in everyone's hand would make you safer. That's a feeling.

My BIL lives in a suburban/rural neighborhood in western NY where it's the norm for homeowners to either open carry or have a shotgun or rifle ready for rapid deployment should the necessity arise. Believe me,of this I am very sure because I've seen it first hand and it's not just pro-gun empty rhetoric........an armed neighborhood is a damn safe and friendly neighborhood.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Must ex cops DO NOT condone nor support a gun in everyone's hand. However we do realize how unsafe you really are and how safe you think you are in many cases. Of course not every situation is the same which is why it should be a right to choose to bear arms or not, depending on things that have nothing to do with feelings.

What you are saying is so massively foolish and isn't backed with any concrete information there really is nothing to be said.
