Has too much time on their hands
Fed Issue #34 - Under Trudeau military spending at all time low.
Canada has not only not lived up to it's commitments of 2% of GDP military spending, nations like Egypt are now far better prepared and armed. I just read that Egypt just got it's new Type 209 sub (far better and newer than our used Upholder class... and actually able to sail) and see that our gov't won't spend money on that.... excess windmills, vacations with billionaires and nannies are OK though.
Egypt has 4 older subs and is getting 4 newer Type 209's

Canada's defence spending hits new lows under Trudeau
http://cnews.canoe.com/CNEWS/Canada/.../22717570.htmlCanada’s defence spending has hit historic new lows under the Trudeau Liberals and this puts the Canadian Armed Forces “at risk of catastrophic failure,” warns a new Senate report.
The government has decreased defence spending to a new low of just 0.88% of GDP, the Senate Committee on National Security and Defence report released Thursday reveals.
This news come only a day after U.S. President Donald Trump said NATO is “no longer obsolete” and reiterated his call for members of the alliance to pay their “fair share.”
All NATO countries have committed to spending 2% of their GDP on defence but Canada has consistently fallen short. While only five of the 28 member countries fufill this commitment, Canada ranks near the bottom of the list.
..
Canada needs to come up with a plan to protect itself against electromagnetic pulse attacks, the Senate’s national security and defence committee is advising.
.
In a world where ISIL is directly mentioning Canada, North Korea has an estimated 10 nukes, dozens of illegals are crossing the border daily, Russia is pushing in the Ukraine, chemical weapons attacks in Syria, the farce of a Turkish election etc. etc. The libs have an idiot for a leader running (ruining) Canada .... what do you think ... while you are still allowed to say it out loud. (Not ninja, gagged)
North Korea missile ranges, ** Note N.K.'s test fires of a SUB launched missiles in 2016 are not reflected.

http://www.janes.com/article/69760/u...-military-sale
The US government plans to provide sustainment support for five of the Royal Canadian Air Force's Boeing C-17 (CC-177) Globemaster III transport aircraft.
The estimated USD195 million deal, to be done through a foreign military sale, includes "contractor logistics support (CLS) provided through the Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program (GISP), in-country field services support, major modification and retrofit kits support, and more.
Canada currently has a support contract for its C-17s that expires on 20 September. Boeing and Lockheed Martin are the US contractors for the effort.

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland issued a statement responding to the launch of a US Department of Commerce investigation into Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier on 18 May.
Ms Freeland expressed her disagreement with the proceedings, which were initiated by rival aeroplane producer Boeing, saying they were "clearly aimed at blocking Bombardier's new aircraft, the CSeries, from entering the US market".
In response she said that Canada would be "reviewing current military procurement that relates to Boeing", suggesting that the country's proposed purchase of 18 Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornets as an interim replacement for its fleet of CF-188A/B Hornets would be reconsidered.

Canada’s government warned Thursday it could cancel a planned $2 billion purchase of 18 Super Hornet fighter jets from Boeing because of U.S. Department of Commerce anti-dumping investigations against Canadian plane maker Bombardier.
Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland issued the threat in a statement about Boeing’s complaint against Bombardier.
“Canada is reviewing current military procurement that relates to Boeing,” Freeland said.
.... thinking Sea King replacement and billions in penalty again but ?????
