Has too much time on their hands
Actually he does live in Canada where his children now attend a Canadian school . He is not a career politician which I prefer and would rather have an experienced business man running this country and bring work back to this country. Check your facts.

Political experience doesn't seem to matter with the electorate at all.
/points at JT
/points at Trump
In fact, what does seem to matter a lot these days is anti establishment
/points at Brexit
/points at Trump......clearly the rust belt and mid west, that area of the US so ignored for so long, they have had it with Washington and the elites.
The big question and good arguments can be made for either side ( yes/no) is whether or not Ontario will rally to him. The East will go Liberal, the West Conservative.
Who ever takes Ontario will likely form the next admin
/Points at soooooooooooooo much anger towards Wynne and Liberals

Have to agree with you on that JBen. I have worked private/public sector for many years and have found the best municipal workers have creative solutions to work with limited budgets have experienced what it is like to work in the real world. A person such as Wynn or any lifetime politician for the most part hasn't the slightest clue what it is like to be held accountable when a budget line has been over spent. Were not talking hundreds of dollars we are talking millions/billions that the Wynn government has wasted of our hard earned money. We would be investigated and thrown in jail.
I firmly believe O'Leary is the man that will give the Liberals nightmares every night before they go to sleep as it should be for what they have done to this province and it's people. I am sick and tired of career politicians saying one thing but doing the opposite or nothing at all. O'Leary will hold them accountable and appoint people based on actual hands on experience to get the job done.

Yep, and while sometimes it may not seem like it ( my very public distaste for PS Unions and the reasons for it) I'm often behind, or rather more often behind P Servants, than not ( a few things Im but devil details). I have lived a wide and varied life. I have yet to walk a path where I haven't found out, that really......people are just people with only some exceptions.
I'm not "sold on Oleary". Clearly he is opportunistic, he see's the opportunity. Just as clearly he doesn't believe his own shtick. It's not hard to figure out why he waited until after Trump won, before going "all in". If he really truly felt he right things, do a great a job, he'd have anted up before then.
Regardless.
He I believe ( and others can feel differently, there are good arguments both ways) is at least right now, for the Cons, the best candidate to win Ontario. And so, it's our best chance to get that tax and spend, save the planet, naive ideologue out of Ottawa, before it's too late and he follows Ms Wynne.....
As for the typical working stiffs, almost all of us are. No kidding, anyone of us would at worst be in jail....
Still before the courts and some friends are still in limbo paying fortunes for liability insurance and lawyers so I can't say much, nor shed light on what the press isn't reporting.....aka the other side (which includes tax opinion from Earnst young before getting the green light, going after people retroactively...In germany they can change a law in 2012, and charge you for doing something that was legal in 2006 and more)
But yep, its not our money and the public trust is the be all and end all....But only if you aren't actually part of the establishment, so heads need to roll and some people might go to jail
