Oh and lets not forget the other really hot topic.
Real Estate.
Now because Toronto and region is the 5th largest city in North America, that magnet that draws so much to it, be it people, be it money, be it companies and jobs ( thank god the people of Ontario have spent billions and billions and billions and billions) on things like the 407, transportation, enticing so much to the city...and paying for all the Hospitals, Drs, Nurses, there and soooooo much more.
Yep, I can understand how residents of the GTA and rolling in the dough ( one report on the Middle class) looking at the paper value of their homes, seeing the dollar signs flashing their eyes...One day Im a gonna cash this in and retire in Panama.......
Well newsflash, the reason property values are exploding in the GTA ( and Vancouver, and Calgary...not so much anymore ....) is because.......
"follow the money"...
Lots of jobs, high paying jobs, its a world class city...courtesy of the the tax payers of Ontario....

Has too much time on their hands
Brian Lilley going nuts .... the insanity the Liberal's keep coming up with has sent him off the deep end .... and the pushing it down the road etc. should make all people with a brain nuts.

Maybe this is their way of trying to get those off the grid to pay ....

Hold them accountable by having Liberal leaders serve jail time. If I were to do that as a manager working municipal government I would be investigated and fired.

Lol, I can just imagine.
Sadly, Hudak and Harris while they in ways had the right idea's, they suffered from tunnel vision. Makes me chuckle in ways when people get so scared of what cuts might mean.......yet all around them are people paying huge prices if they would just look....already. Its like being afraid the fox might get in the hen house, and not seeing the wolf slaughtering the pigs outside.
No idea "really" where things go. Ripping off the bandaid might be the best thing long term, but that will mean a lot of pain, pain people Miss Wynne is referring don't need. And that includes elements of PS.
Also includes the working stiffs waiting months and months and months for surgeries, dieing before they get treated, seniors on fixed income now getting utterly trashed by hydro, no nat gas, other taxes..The 800,000 people without GPs now....the multitudes facing bleak golden years.....while others are looking starter homes worth 1,000,000,000 and dreaming of retiring to Panama, or the cottage or PEI....
Yep ripping off the bandaid per se, is going to hurt.
A lot of people, especially those Ms Wynne referred to

Crap "yellow dog"
My bad.
Jail
Yep. My head rolled because people somewhere else did some things.....
Why do "they" do the things they do? Because "we" let them and we let them get away with it. Sometimes over and over and over and over.
Years ago, they got punted right fast, so they didn't do the things they do. Values these days are different.
And now, there's no good way out. And there are all kinds who don't have it so good (private and PS alike) paying huge prices while some others either escape it or benefit (ms Wynnes admission, and isn't it funny how she even included reference to the U.S., the mid west, rust belt and why Trump won) and golly gee, let's not do that....
It's enough to make a person say "cya" to the insane asylum....aka the Golden TA.
