Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says his government has followed all the rules for party fundraisers, and blames media and opposition leaders for creating any concern among the public.
Sort of reminds me of the criminal blaming the victim, the police and the judge... Gerald Butts sure picked a stupid puppet!

Liberals reverse Harper cabinet order to unwind Chinese takeover deal
The Trudeau government has cancelled a cabinet order by the previous Harper government that would have forced a Chinese electronics company to abandon its takeover of a Montreal-based high-tech firm because of concerns the deal could harm national security.
Instead, in a decision that suggests a different approach to Chinese investment, the Liberal government has said federal officials will undertake a “fresh review” of this transaction.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has made deepening trade relations with China and striking a free-trade deal with Beijing key foreign-policy objectives for his government.
His government declined to explain Ottawa’s reversal of the divestment order when asked about it Monday, citing national security and commercial confidentiality.

Pierre Trudeau "fixed" his son's drug charges....
I guess Justin can "fix" his own problems now... Ethics is now dead in Ottawa it seems.
PM no longer under investigation for cash-for-access fundraisers, but ethics commissioner won’t say why
http://news.nationalpost.com/news/ca...s-commissioner
Ethics commissioner Mary Dawson is no longer investigating Justin Trudeau’s controversial cash-for-access fundraisers, although she refused to answer questions on why she seems to have questioned only the prime minister and not anyone else involved in the alleged ethical breaches.
...
A number of high-profile attendees later got lucrative government approvals. For example, Trudeau attended a fundraiser at the mansion of multimillionaire Miaofei Pan on Nov. 7 in Vanouver where Pan urged the prime minister to allow Chinese investment in seniors’ care. Later that month Anbang Insurance Group bought a majority stake in Vancouver-based seniors’ care company Retirement Concepts in a deal reported to have exceeded $1 billion.
...
“Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson is not pursuing an examination under the Conflict of Interest Act of any of the fundraising activities involving the Prime Minister that were brought to her attention by Members of the House of Commons. There is nothing more we can say about this matter,” said Brisebois.
Nothing more they can say, the sell off to China of companies that their technology has advanced military implications, donations ..... Justin sure must love dictatorships.... he seems to be running Ottawa that way, when you can't question or investigate the PM you know the elite and the entitled are running (ruining) Canada.
