Not so much the pay for access... that is just plain sleazy in appearance (Wynne does it all the time too) but the reality is how fund raising is handled by all parties to some degree. How he handled criticism shows Justin's admiration for dictators ... again.

Liberals avoid scrutiny for contentious cash-for-access fundraisers
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has handed the duty of enforcing new rules for lobbying and political fundraisers to a department that directly reports to him, meaning that exclusive Liberal Party fundraisers with senior cabinet ministers as the prize attraction escape the scrutiny of the ethics commissioner.

The Office of Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson told The Globe on Thursday that Ms. Dawson cannot pass judgment on whether Mr. Trudeau’s “Open and Accountable Government” rules were breached because he gave that mandate to the Privy Council Office, the senior bureaucracy that serves the Prime Minister’s Office.

Throughout this controversy, the Liberals have avoided any mention of the Trudeau rules they once championed, instead dwelling on how their behaviour is in line with provisions of the elections law that cover donation limits.

True .... but that imbecile has the same puppetmaster as McGuilty had (Gerald Butts) and with MP's like Monsef (lied on immigration, even Trudeau said people like here should loose citizenship) and Alghabra (thinks Hamas should be take off terrorist list and mourned Arafat's death) we see a Canada wide issue where THEIR morality and the average honest working citizen's morality have very little in common on the chart. How many real Canadians think that billions should be given to organizations without accountability, a dictator is admired, debt should be increased to the point you can never pay it back, and I can go on etc... reality and morality seem to have been abandoned for opportunism, power and self aggrandizement to the detriment of all Canadians.
