ON Issue #19 - State of energy, Mom's power is turned off while Energy Ministry crying over bribery
More on the state of the Ontario Energy program....
Energy Minister crying because of his part in bribery....

That’s what came to mind Tuesday when Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault emotionally told reporters this has been hard on his family. The cloud he has been under since last year’s Sudbury byelection became a little darker this week. Federal Crown prosecutor Vern Brewer said Monday one charge laid in connection to that byelection relates to “an allegation that Mr. Thibeault sought certain benefits, offers or a job or employment as part of his conditions to run as an MPP.”
Thibeault faces no charges. However, OPP have laid bribery charges against two senior Liberal operatives under the Election Act. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
Brewer noted the Election Act makes it an offence to offer a bribe, not necessarily to receive one — which is an interesting distinction.
While the poor in Ontario face choices and you don't see the Libs crying.....

Bet she is still having windmills built... the estimated $6,000,000,000+ worth of windmills is at this moment producing 2% of Ontario's electricity. Just remember Gerald Butts is now consulting Trudeau... carbon taxes, coal bans.... probably solar farms in Resolute or Iqaluit next.

Has too much time on their hands
Turns out that there are 1,400 families have been turned off.... the family below was making payments and they were still cut off.... they only got the power back after the Global news show....

Exclusive: Hydro One launches review of more than 1,400 disconnections
Hydro One – the province’s largest utility provider – is conducting a case-by-case review of 1,425 customers living without electricity.
Like many Hydro One customers, Carol says she and her family were caught up in the smart meter billing fiasco that plagued the company between 2013 and 2015.
After not receiving bills for roughly six months, Carol says she and her husband received a catch-up bill of approximately $12,000 in September 2015.
Despite the heavy burden, the pair did everything they could to pay it off.
“We stuck with a payment plan. It was quite high,” Carol said. “It was around $810 I think for that first one if I remember correctly, plus our hydro costs which are high here.”
In total, Carol says she and her husband were paying roughly $1,800 to $2,000 a month for hydro between September 2015 and April 2016.
Looks like it is the Hydro and provinces fault.... I hope a lawyer picks this one up!!!!
