The GF lived very close to Harmony/Taunton and did her sister. It's forever under "construction". Given where I live now, the "best" route for me into South Oshawa/South Whitby is straight down Simcoe. Would be nice to stay on Simcoe past Taunton but it like Harmony is a freak show. I've been hopping onto the 407 instead, across to Thickson and down Thickson then back track East if needed. The bridge in Brooklin is a mess to.

Really makes you wonder. Didn't add but will now, in conjunction with Dyths reminder of the Nipigon bridge. I can't recall where exactly, but SW Ontario for sure. Maybe Windsor, maybe London. A couple bridges they spent millions on, then had to halt due to faulty supports........

I'm municipal, I know I have it good. I worked in the private sector previously. I work directly with some of the provinces agencies and ministries......this is uncalled for.

I'm sure it will go over really well with some family who earns the median, dont have pensions, cant afford Hydro, Carbon taxes, DVP tolls, and everything else they are getting pummelled by. Especially when you consider, chances are some of those people are in the MTO and clearly are doing stellar jobs.......

Don't have a problem myself with making sure people are adequately compensated, however as is so often the case the last 10 years. Completely out of touch with what reality is for the peons. perhaps if they had seen the writing on the wall, things wouldnt have gotten to the point where they

like the vast majority of Ontarians wouldnt be "falling behind".

She is cut from the same cloth as Hillory Clinton. She knows every trick in the book. Large PS and teacher raises are being pushed through now so they don't headline in the next election year. Wynne is renegotiating contracts already with teachers.

Wynne is CONSTANTLY renegotiating contracts with all significant PS blocks. Every time you turn around, she's reworked contracts for teachers, police, ems, etc.

If your in private and the real world, raise your hand if you've ever received "catch up" raises.

Meaning the company has to watch over head, and freezes salaries.. Then after 4 or 5 years, says ok. We held the line for 5 years, , and now we can give you 10%. Sorry for the cough

I actually went through 4 straight years with 0 increase. When they did give one it wasn't a "catch up". That cr@p only happens in the public sector. Which is why we live on deficits, accumulate debt and have ever increasing debt servicing costs. But most don't care. I guess times can't be that bad.

With a nice big raise, likely more days off and then they will finance her relection. Oh, and she will throw millions at the union to pay for "bargaining costs".
