And now we have to put up with the daily dribble of the election on TV, fortunately I recorded a bunch of science shows to kill the agony.
As usual, the main stream media is airing Liberal attack ads every 15 minutes. I think I've seen two CPC ads since Friday. Why am I not surprised? President Trump has endorsed Mark Carney "because a Liberal would be easier to deal with". Both hose guys are from the world of high finance and birds of feather....... Again, why am I not surprised. We were all concerned that Justin Trudeau was a WEF adherent and a complete toady. Mark Carney IS the WEF right up there with Klaus Schwabb. Carney has plugged what's-her-name from Polysouvient into a safe Quebec riding to further drive the gun control agenda. Obviously, the Liberals intend to ramp that up a whole bunch. Anyone who thought the carbon tax was cancelled is delusional. It's merely been "paused". Nice show signing that fake document for the media theatrics the other day. What a joke, but,Liberal supporters being easily duped, sucked that up like a sponge.
So,here we go with 30 days of ridiculous press releases full of fake news, fearmongering, all essentially of little substance. At least, the Bears can hibernate through it....so far.;)
They are trying to trick us.
Listening to their adds it sounds like we voting between carney and trump lol. But I can't vote for trump.
Your right I've only seen a few adds for the conservative side mostly left ads coming out of the partnerships platforms.
Playing the trump card might just be enough to keep them afloat. Also if they cut the carbon tax and fuel goes down temporarily they will use that. Then when he gets in he will raise the tax even more on the corporate market that will in turn cost us more once he is elected.

Pierre has been offered several times to do a a podcast on the rogan show and vauletianment with Patrick. It would create millions of views but he's not down for it.
Trump was on both it didn't have any negative effects.

Well they are still in the lead whe pushing the anti America trump narrative.
The end of the empire and a new reality?
"“The system of global trade anchored on the United States … is over,” Carney said during the recentannouncement. “The 80-year period when the United States embraced the mantle of global economic leadership … is over. While this is a tragedy, it is also the new reality.''
It's not a shocker as it's been in the works for decades.
So what will our new reality be ? Like new normal lol. Who will run the new global economic leadership? Will it be China? What about the EU? Will the brics hold hands ?
All I see is billions of taxpayers money being used from on our own actions within this tariff war and thousands of jobs lost.

Poilievre is absolutely right in avoiding American shows like Rogan. There's no point in talking, specifically,to an All-American audience about Canadian politics. Half of Americans couldn't find their own state on a map let alone find Canada. They think we live in igloos and drive snowmobiles to work. Besides,he would be playing straight into the leftist Liberal media contention that anything to the right of communism is ultra right Ku Klux Klanism/fascism,transphobic,racist.........well,you get the picture.
Which of the two poor choices will let me keep my guns and let me keep hunting food? Might be time for a non-confidence vote.
Lots of Canadians are subscribers an American platform yes yet many Canadians are tuned into them.
It was about 8 of population at that point. It's only grown since then. Millions of Canadians would of watched.
""Make no mistake, The Joe Rogan Experience has a huge audience. In our Canadian Podcast Listener 2019 study, one-in-ten podcast listeners said they listened to the podcast in the past month. That’s more than three times the audience of the #2 show, Stuff You Should Know. The Joe Rogan Experience had more mentions among Canadian podcast listeners than the combined podcasts of any publisher except the CBC.So naturally, we wonder what’s so different about Joe Rogan?""""
The way things are I think if he did it now he would be turned into a trump lover far right extremists lol.
Crazy how everyone's acting .

According to carney our biggest security threat is china. So why we going to dump the usa for China? The other day in Walmart electronics section didn't see any made Canada stickers lol.
Riding changes who decided to change the area. Many don't even know the FIL told me yesterday he was voting for Scott Davidson news flash he is no longer our representative. He didn't believe me lol. It wouldn't be to try as swing a riding would it ? The area cut is generally a blue area. Past the new line it becomes more reddish. So what gives ? Why am I part of the york Durham now and why didn't I get a say in changing the riding? . Like I said many are unaware of the changes talked to a few people and they didn't know anything about the new changes .
Anyways I won't be playing games and my vote will go to Jacob mantle a conservative.

My wife had dinner with a friend of hers last week and of course politics came up over dinner. The woman she had dinner with has been a conservative voter for years but come this election she said she’s voting liberal because she said the conservative leader was too much like trump. Go figure….
From the state funded cbc
"With the federal election underway, Pierre Poilievre’s political opponents have intensified their accusations that the Conservative leader is like U.S. President Trump. On Sunday, Liberal leader Mark Carney said that Poilievre mirrors Trump in language and intention, and that he followed the administration’s lead in proposing foreign aid cuts. "
Another cbc headline
"Is Pierre Poilievre too 'in sync' with Donald Trump?" And inside the link
"""Liberals have, for months, been trying to link Poilievre and Trump, either substantively or stylistically — Chrystia Freeland, for instance, used the term "maple syrup MAGA" to describe the Conservatives last fall. And so Smith's comments — which only came to wider attention last weekend — were a gift to the governing party.
Standing in front of Rideau Hall on Sunday, Mark Carney said Canadians would have to decide "whether they want a government that is unifying, standing up for Canada and is taking focused action to build a better economy" or whether they "want division and Americanism."
"That's what Mr. Poilievre seems to be offering," Carney said. "Just endorsed by the premier of Alberta."""
A guardian headline.
"Trump effect leaves Canada’s Conservatives facing catastrophic loss"
It's amazing how fast we can abandon them.
Most don't know that it will cause communist China to rises up in place of the usa. Cuz It ain't going to be Canada. There is only one other country in the world even close and again that is china.
Funny Mark Carney was speaking a few days ago about ending the usa relationship and its will be the end of the economic leadership ctv article I believe YouTube.
My comment
"If the usa fails who rises? "
Was deleted hahaha haha. Let's not talk about that.

Sure,he said that. He's said a lot of things. "Play 'em the music they want to hear" is the Liberal stock-in-trade. I'm going to the advance poll tomorrow and casting my vote for my local Conservative candidate. As a Canadian,my one vote is all I can do. Whatever happens after that.......happens.
I don't need the debate its in the government liberal page says they will make it tougher for licensing.
https://liberal.ca/wp-content/upload...ommunities.pdf
"Toughen oversight of firearms licensing "
From a cbc page
"Strengthen the oversight of firearms licensing ."
I only said it would be harder to own them
Toughening the oversight of firearms licensing would make it harder to own them.
Some of the other policies should of been in decades ago lol. Didn't we Crack down on crime with the past several elections? Or did we target law abiding citizens? Oops lol.
Was listening to some of the American presidential campaigns from the 80s and 90s you wouldn't believe they are still saying the same talk today lol. The past 4 presidents all said they would bring back the jobs and the same back then 30 years ago. Funny how that works lol. Now we are all mad because trump is actually going try and do it.

Unfortunately the Liberals have made it very clear over the years that banning all guns is the ultimate goal. Its sad that they have somehow convinced people that this is in the name of public safety. Its not, and that money could be much more effective spent on actual safety issues, especially gang and border smuggling issues. People aren't being shot by legal firearm owners guns (at least not in any appreciable amount), people are frequently being shot by gang members with illegal guns smuggled from the US. If it was truly about public safety that is where they would focus their efforts. But instead they lie, convince the uneducated public to believe this will somehow make a difference and spend billions towards the ultimate goal of total disarmament. Yet people do no research and just believe those total lies.
They keep talking about removing assault weapons from canada, yet there are none legally owned. What they really mean is guns that look scary because they are black and have plastic parts on them that make them look like movie guns. In fact they operate exactly the same as your grandfathers old hunting rifle. Again uneducated people being lied to.
Can anyone tell me how we are in a crisis?
I hear it's because of trump but I don't see it. The entire election has been about trump like I said it would be .
Who's the best to defeat trump lol
Trump didn't start our problems I talked about kicking the can down during the pandemic. There was signals well before that. I think I've asked what the plans been for a half decade here. You can't loose a decade of living standards and blame trump.
Homelessness is up food banks are at record breaking numbers we are biulding houses at same pace as the 70s. When housing starts are down you don't bring in 1.2 million people a year while only starting 220 thousands homes.
Trumps fault carry-on
Sent from my SM-G975W using Tapatalk
Been some rumours that a number who visit the food banks really don't need to, just taking advantage of free food.
Over one million is accurate for 2024. Never believe what MSM news reports on immigration numbers
Attachment 45018
I was accurate on the immigration numbers just off the housing a bit I putt 220 it should of been 240.
""In 2023, Canada's housing starts (new home construction) significantly lagged behind the rapid increase in immigration numbers. While housing starts were at 240,267, Canada added a record1.23 million new residents, largely due to immigration, according to the Fraser Institute. This resulted in a 5.1 new residents for every housing unit started, the highest ratio since 1972,notes the Toronto Sun.""
Our housing actually peaked in 76 . Seems pretty crazy since we have grown so much since then. Shortly after in the mid 80s we started shipping our manufacturing away. You would think if our population grew by almost half or the equivalent of 17 million people you would biuld more not less .
"Nationally, construction began on about 245,367 new housing units in 2024, down from a recent high of 271,198 starts in 2021—Canada's annual number of housing starts peaked at 273,203 in 1976."

Funny how this works. They still say to this day that they are shaping the global agenda. Mark Carney is part of this crazy organization. Few years after this we sent moved our manufacturing. Simon says Simon does. In 1972 they introduced the head of state to the meetings. In 79 they open the door to China this link shows some of the agenda from 1971 to 2015

In 1980, the World Economic Forum (WEF) was founded and focused on the changing business world, including factors like corporate strategy and structure. While not explicitly about "moving manufacturing," the forum's early discussions touched upon the need for businesses to adapt to changing economic conditions and technological advancements, which would eventually contribute to shifts in the manufacturing landscape.
Here's a more detailed look:
WEF's Foundational Goals:
The WEF, established in 1980, was designed to bring together prominent business leaders, academics, and media representatives to discuss global challenges and emerging trends. This included discussions about the factors impacting business strategies and structures.
Shifting Business Landscape:
The 1980s saw significant changes in the business world, including the rise of globalization, technological advancements, and changing consumer preferences. These factors started to influence how companies operated and where they chose to manufacture their products.
Decline in Manufacturing's Share of GDP:
The share of manufacturing as a percentage of GDP began to decline globally, including in emerging markets, from the 1970s and 1980s. This decline was driven by various factors, including structural shifts, technological changes, and increased global competition.
The Future of Manufacturing:
The WEF has continued to address the future of manufacturing, exploring how companies can adapt to changing conditions, embrace new technologies, and develop more sustainable and resilient business models. This includes discussions on topics like the internet of things, circular economies, and net-zero manufacturing.
In summary, while the WEF's founding in 1980 wasn't specifically about "moving manufacturing," its discussions about the changing business landscape and the need for companies to adapt to evolving economic and technological trends set the stage for the subsequent shifts in the manufacturing sector."

Found this online, it's showing way under 1.2 million immigrants a year. I can't find any sources saying 1.2m/year. It doesn't sound accurate.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...nts-in-canada/
They don't add the temporary residence that need a place to stay along with many other resources we lack in. . Most stay 3 to 4 years before thier permits up and they go or choose to stay.. 800 thousand plus 460 thousand is 1.2 m residences came into Canada in 2023 . Still leaves Canada’s housing starts to 2.1 permanent residences plus the many Canadians that also try and get into the market.
"AI Overview

In 2023, Canada experienced a substantial increase in population, adding approximately 1.27 million people, with the majority of this growth attributed to temporary residents. This makes it the largest annual population growth since 1957. While the statement "Canada let in 1.2 million immigration" is accurate in the sense that 1.2 million people were added to the population through immigration, it doesn't fully reflect the dynamics of immigration, which includes both permanent and temporary residents.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Total Population Increase:
Canada's population grew by 1.271,872 people between January 1, 2023, and January 1, 2024, according to Statistics Canada.
Immigration Impact:
Immigration, both permanent and temporary, accounted for the vast majority of this growth, with temporary residents contributing the largest share.
Temporary Residents:
Non-permanent residents (NPRs), including permit holders and asylum claimants, added 804,901 to the population in 2023.
Permanent Residents:
While the statement focuses on "letting in," it's important to note that Canada also continues to admit permanent residents through various pathways, such as the Express Entry system and Provincial Nominee Programs.
Future Adjustments:
The Canadian government has also announced a plan to reduce the volume of temporary residents to a more sustainable level, according to a statement from the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.""

It is a crazy number freeland said it would keep us out of a recession. New spending did keep us out of a recession but it's not the right way to biuld your economy. You don't neglect your own citizens to stimulate the economy with new spending. It's another set up for a disaster or leaves us in a so called crisis at the moment. We didn't better our economy we only used the newcomers to keep us afloat awhile while neglecting the real problems we are facing today.
It's one of the reasons I've been asking what our plan is to better ourselves, our economy, our future of Canada.
Still see no plan.

The empire is a great position being the largest economy has its benefits including helping its neighbors and others around the world. But when it's being threatened all bets are off and they will work on their own economy. We shouldn't expect them to save our butts when they are so close to loosing that status. They only have 1 goal in mind and it is to keep that status alive will it work?
I'm starting to have my doubts as all the weffers standing tall crying foul. When they all should of been taking care of their own in the first place. How many billions are being funded by the left to ngos and their protest? Couple of the latest protest are supported and backed by 1%ers funny how that works. I did a deep dive into that last week . Pretty sad .
Maybe that's what happens when you use an overseas organization to shape your global and regional economy, business and trade. If we worked on Canada decades ago for the best interests of Canadians we wouldn't have this problem today. They are about profits nothing more what's the best way for them to profit?..
We can't really blame China either we started that 40 years ago for profits. Did they steal our technology or does the innovation really come out at the source of production?
Why's are cattle heards kept down yet the price keeps going up and our pop rises? The heards keep going down in size driving up that price. Don't worry we will import it so it's more affordable lol. Still haven't bought any of that ungraded beef crap yet nor the australia beef. What about making food more affordable right here in Canada.
Oh yeah his fancy hair was a hit, a hit right to our economy lol.
I still can't blame trump from the decades of neglect. Trump is only doing what any other person would do to keep their empire alive. We can either stand with them or go against him like we are doing.
Then a new empire rises. What will that look like ? A digital future? A world were your just a number walking down the road ? A world where machines and ai does everything for you? Who will rise next ? A world where you will rent everything you want as things will be delivered by drones. A world were we don't have to think for ourselves?
Millions of jobs are at risk.

In most instances,we're already beginning to experience every one of them to some extent. In the not too distant future,we'll likely see greater incidents of lawlessness due to the lack of accountability and consequences. If another Liberal government wins a majority in the next election,I expect our situation to become infinitely and catastrophically worse before it ever gets better.
