It solves two problems..as I have said earlier, the Cons seriously should NOT want to take leadership of this mess. The budget (or lack there of) will be a burden and drag on the economy. No fixing that for years to come and whoever has to makes the cuts to make it happen will be turfed like the Liberals were in Ontario. They lost party status over the budget/economy issues.
AND...a Cons loss will result in turfing O'Toole....they need to get a leader the whole party will support. This fragmented party is its own worst enemy..NOT fit to lead a country right now.
