3 months ago Mauro made this BIG announcement he was going to "fast track his decision" on whether he was going to bring back the spring hunt. Well it's now been 3 months, wheres his decision?? Is he going to wait till April 1rst or May 1rst like in 2014??
He is part of the same Lieberal government that brought you the billion dollar gas plant scandal,the E-health scandal the Orange Air scandal. c) special interest groups who push their agenda, because have the $$$ (e.g. PS unions) - in other places in the world it's called corruption...
d) media that does not report equally issues and successes; it's called political propaganda

When you look at our tax system, at the electricity rates etc. I have more sympathy for the business owners than the gov't by far..... reminds me, I wonder if the Liberals will cancel this Conservative issued contract to that same snubbed company... it would fit their "mental" profile... only they could ignore the jobs leaving and think.. hey lets increase the electricity rates more!

As far as corporate income taxes go - pretty hard to figure how a company would owe income taxes if it was going bankrupt...Corporate income taxes are only due when a company posts a profit - and if your company posts a profit, but doesn't have the cash to pay income tax - well - that's a bit hard to explain.

When you increase the taxes THAT is when the teller gets fired (NDP tax increase probably doubled the Alberta job losses), when you increase the electricity rates to the highest in North America that is when companies leave and all the staff get turfed (300,000 in Ontario so far). The jobs are leaving, huge projects ($200,000,000 in the Leamington greenhouse case) leaving the province while the Ontario Liberals have increased the debt by over $100B and all you can do is say tax the companies more... 1) The goods and service taxes.
2) The taxes on transportation (about 1/4 the price of a litre of gas)
3) The gov't dictated electrical rate (just got cottage electric bill, electricity for last quarter $31.66, rest of charges $133.37 )
