I just got an iPhone 6 and was looking for a good water proof/shock proof case. What do you all use?
I picked up a Lifeproof Fre and everyone at all the stores say how great it is but I am trying out case #3 because the 1st 2 leaked water when I did the water test.
Anyone else use a different one? or have this one and like it better then what I have found so far? I also do not like the screen, gives the 'wet mark look'.

Haven't had one on a iPhone but Otterbox has worked fine for me and mine...
I love my Otterbox but it is not waterproof. Many drops so far but no damage yet.
Otterbox here as well...not waterproof but don't care! I should also mention Otterbox's no questions asked warranty...both my case & my wife's case has been replaced due to them malfunctioning...great customer service!

Full waterproof cases are annoying. I have one and only use it on canoe trips.
I've had great luck with Otter box.
My oldest son and I have the Samsung S5 and use the Lifeproof cases and have not had issues with them. I have dropped the phone a couple times and it landed screen down on the floor and it was fine. Water not an issue either (although it is still a little nerve racking to put it under water).
I even used it this year for the Warrior Dash which was nice as I could crank the tunes while not worrying about the phone getting ruined.
The "wet mark" can be annoying but after a while you don't notice (especially when screen is on). With the case I will give up looks for protection.
Otter box are great this is the longest i have ever had a phone. Not water proof almost lost it when i jumped into the lake with it lol.
But it has saved it from many drops the would of broke a phone with out it.
I use an Otter box but it doesn't protect the screen and that's what break first on an iPhone so there are not the best.
Try the defender series it protects the screen... but they are big cases... you probably have the commuter series.. phone took a 20 ft drop of the tree stand hit two ladder rungs on way down and a log.. perfectly fine... although.. layer that week I dropped it off the nightstand. .. and the glass shattered... That's what I mean, it doesn't protect the glass from shattering (IPhone are bad for that). Galaxy are a lot better for that.Quote:
