My wife and I decided to go to one of the advance polls. We live in the Walkerton area and when we arrived there was a line up of almost 40 people. It's good to see so many people taking the time to vote. Keep in mind that your employers must give you time off to vote. No excuses, get out and vote!
Ridiculous that you can't vote online in this day and age.
It sure is J Matthews. I voted today and the line up was longer than I've ever seen it on "early bird" voting day. Good sign.
We are headed to the advance poll here in Bramladesh tomorrow! You can rest assured that the Lieberals WILL NOT be getting a vote from me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a charge on my credit card from something I supposedly bought through Paypal. I don't even have an account with them and never have.
I think we're a long from secure anything when it comes to computers.
Absolutely. I had an extended conversation with some other folks that were waiting in line at one of our stations. We had lots of time. At one point,the line was 30 minutes long. The general concensus was that as long as there were hacker groups that seem to be able to breech any website,on-line voting will never happen.Quote:

I have never seen or heard this kind of interest in past elections. I'm afraid that doesn't bode well for the Cons? Just my take on it, but it seems like some folks are in a frenzy. If it's change they want, god help them if the libtards get in!
It seems that the interest shown in the advance polls suggests that many, if not most have already made up their minds. I think that's usually the case anyway and all the rhetoric and BS in the weeks prior to voting day falls on deaf ears.
I'll be voting first chance I get and it probably won't be for those Lib guys or them other orange clowns.
absolutely no reason not to get out and vote. even of you are far from the stations and/or out of town that day you have options. I'm in Alberta right now and will be until after election day. I had a ballot package sent to me here via mail. just cast your vote for your riding and send back. easy and didn't have to leave the living room.
Our riding (Durham) will be sending Erin O'Toole back to Ottawa without doubt. The NDP and Liberal candidates have been virtually invisible. Traditionally,the NDP used to be very strong in Oshawa,but,their numbers have radically dwindled since GM has shrunk their operations by almost 80%. The demographics have shifted,considerably to Conservative for the past three elections,federally. Hopefully,that trend continues in the 905,but,the lynch pin has always been Toronto and they love their left wingers. Too bad we can't throw a horse blanket over the SOB's. LOLQuote:

Here in Algoma-Manitoulin riding, we have the NDP and in all likelyhood, it will remain so? The Con's candidate sent out some pamphlets to our mailbox, but other than that, I wouldn't know the guy if he came to my door? I think a large part of the wait is base on the fact that all voter info needs to be cross referenced on a master list, and then the individual's info is recorded by hand.
